How far KCP has come... Went from being laughed at by his own teammates to being one of our most important players!

Big props again to KCP for finally playing like the guy we had hoped for when we signed him a couple/few years ago. We've seen flashes before but never this kind of consistency. I don't want to jinx him for sure, but I do forgive him that horrific start and at that point he was one of my least favorite Lakers of all time because of his play to salary ratio and suckitude. He completely turned it around. And as mentioned before, I am loving how he sets up Dwight on those lobs. Great to see.

I kinda feel like KCP is better as a starter still....no?

Either way, he's bringing it every night on both ends and maybe we should be utilizing his skill set as a playmaker more instead of relying so much on ball hog rondo.

I still like Avery Bradley as a starter because of the defensive tone he sets. KCP seems to have found his groove now regardless of starting/bench role. He's just playing and shooting well.

In general I feel like the guys are all finding those position roles well - McGee/Howard, Bradley/KCP, Green/Caruso . . . the only trouble spots have been overusing Rondo at backup PG (I get it, Cook doesn't facilitate) and correctly utilizing Kuz who still seems to be finding his way on the team. I'm still holding out hope that Collison joins our team and eats up some of his minutes. I like Cook a lot but he seems to have the least value in his role on our team even though he's a great guy and his teammates like him. If we were to get Collison I'd say we might need to let Cook go. Daniels has a specific skillset that could really come in handy (three point shooting). Dudley is our big/enforcer/tough D/seasoned vet that we will need come playoffs.

That's fair - plus KCP off the bench gives us more balance instead of trotting out Rondo/Caruso/Bradley together...Rondo/Caruso/KCP is much more balanced.

Cook is probably the odd man out I agree - but I'm still hoping Rondo somehow stays injured and we sign Collison - then we could have Bradley/Collison/Caruso as our PG rotation - SUPER solid.

Maybe at the end of his career. But I really liked D-Fish.

A real good game otherwise though from him I thought: lot of bounces and oddball plays in this one.

Who would have thought KCP and Caruso would be players that would be pissed to move except if a Godfather offer came along

As someone who has been severely critical of KCP, I've been completely surprised. He's settled into his role well and knows where he's supposed to be on the court. He's not gambling as much on defense and hasn't done anything recently to cause headaches lol.

^KCP's problem has never been god given talent. I think that is pretty obvious.

Decision making has been a huge problem with him, as he is a very low IQ basketball player. To be fair though, this season his decision making has improved to a degree. I still don't have confidence in his decision making but its been less of a problem. Making bad shots certainly provides more of a punch to justify bad shots, so kudos to him. To my eyes, he looks less selfish than prior years.

Likely due to the fact that he has a two-year deal so he's not playing for a contract. He also has a defacto no-trade clause. That combined with our improved chemistry leads to a less selfish KCP.
