I think you misunderstood my post bud. I'm saying I'll pass on Davis today if they're asking for both BI and Randle. If we can get him for one of those guys, I'd have a hard time saying no. Imagine a lineup of Ball/George/LeBron/Randle/Davis or something and it's a fairy tale. I'm probably not giving up both... today. In three years maybe the youngsters have plateaued and maybe Davis is an MVP and in that case, this post will look stupid, but I'll live with the results for now. BI is still a question mark, but he's certainly been improving rapidly. He's a question mark because the sample size is simply too small, but certainly right now he's doing a good job of erasing those fears.
Great use of deflection bro. I've complained about the league being soft and of course LaBron is the poster child of that with his flops and his affinity to create superteams opposed to just doing it by his damn self. But yes, even the great Kobe flops. He's got an academy award to prove it. But alas, lets get back to Bullyius and his Fandles.
One example? Trying to keep the guy from sliding his feet under him behind the line? I win! Now back to Bullyus
LOL. How about 2 first round pics no strings attached and pretty good one this year from Cleveland while old man LBJ paces himself during the regular season and they keep losing .... plus Bryant and Caruso and Zubac (if you absolutely have to) .... to move Deng. Even a second rounder tossed in. We have enough young talent that we're going to want to keep going forward. Fill out with ring chasers to LBJ and PG added to the team. Just worry about losing Zubac as he's going to be a skilled and legit 7 footer and a good number of them in or entering the league. But almost rather lose him than Hart. No question about it if we can keep Lopez with the room exception. Ship his big pale skinned a** out!
That’s “Beast” though, not “THE Beast”, huge difference. I’m never calling him The Beast, sounds silly. To me he’s Mandle, because he manhandles dudes out there. And damn, not even this thread is safe from the LeBron/Davis talk, that stuff is getting out of control. I’m trying to enjoy this season and I can’t get away from scenarios that have us signing LeBron, PG, and trading the rest of the roster for AD. I guess I better enjoy watching this group while I can.
I'm down with Beast. FYI, I nearly choked on my sip of water after reading: "Washed up veterans on their last to no legs? Felton who comprises two people?" The Felton fat jokes never get old. Cookie hit a home run with one in the Doomsday thread. My son and I were watching an OKC game last week (league pass) and when he saw Felton he exclaimed: That guy is so fat his jersey looks painted on!
I've said it before, I have no idea how a perimeter player could play professional basketball and all the practices and workouts it entails, and still be that fat. How many freaking calories is that guy consuming a day?
http://www.complex.com/sports/2012/07/gallery-the-many-thoughts-of-a-fat-raymond-felton/ The second to the last one had me just dying... LOL! Trawled the 'net...no alcoholism in Felton's past but probably lotsa doughnuts. OK back to topic on hand folks...about "Beast" (no The).
Here are my ideas Julius Randle Julius Randle Honestly, just his regular name sounds better and more intimidating then some of these nicknames. If I’m watching a game, I’d get more hyped from a “JULIUS!” from Billy Mac after a strong finish at the rim. Any of these nicknames and I’d cringe. No offense to those who came up with these ideas.
Of course nicknames are kinda goofy. The Black Mamba is one of the goofiest. But it goes with the territory of greatness in the NBA. Gotta roll with it.
I like Beast It just feels right calling him that, muscling everybody around in the paint, and with his superior quickness for a guy his size
