That Nurkic guy is a straight up a**hole on the court and I love it. JC is definitely better than Ingles, but that top 5 is rock solid IMO.

Very solid indeed. We're drafting well and finding hidden gems in unexpected places.

I still don't grasp why he's getting DNPs while Hill, Boozer, and Sacre are racking up minutes. Mitch needs to take his wand and hit Scott upside the damn head with it.

If there is one thing I agree with the criticism of Byron on it is this. Just makes no sense not to play him more.

Yeah we're out here developing Clarkson, but Tarik doesn't get his shot? I don't get it. Maybe Tarik would just win us too many games on his own? Sacre's minutes should be zero every single night. I love him, but he's a 3rd string Center and we've got five bodies capable of playing inside right now. His should be the last off the bench.

Because Byron does not have a clue. Sit the veterans, play the young guys, invite few talented D-Legue players, and allow Mitch to draft well again in the offseason. Why is this so complicated?

Exactly. We're playing Clarkson so he can develop and we can see what he's capable of. We know what Sacre is, we know what Hill is, and we have had 13 years to see what Boozer is. Play Black and Davis. It's a conflicting plan, if you're going to implement it with JC, why just JC? I get Black doesn't have the upside and potential of Clarkson but I think he could definitely have a career as a reliable backup big and a cheap one at that.

Easy. He's trying to win games. There's is no other reason why other than just basic stupidity. If Byron sees the game close in the 4th quarter, I think pride kicks in and he favors going with the lineup (vets) that give him the best chance to win games.

Jordan Clarkson shot-chart over the last 3 game win streak (not including game yesterday). Contributing positively to winning basketball; though, we're attempting to tank, the fact that he's contributing to some success we're having on the court that are translating to wins is a positive sign, IMO.

trodgers was saying he was ranking in as one of the Top 10 rookies this season. Clarkson is on the list too. That'd give us two of the best picks this year + Randle who would have likely made the list over guys like KJ McDaniels, Nurkic, and Jerami Grant (although to be fair Embiid and Parker are hurt too...).

We could conceivably go into next season with three of the best rookies from the 2014 class AND three more picks in 2015. With the Lakers draft history, I'm pretty confident that we can have up to six young players that are all NBA contributors on Rookie deals AND Cap Space to go get impact players.

Still though, to get there Tarik Black needs some time on the floor. Stop playing Sacre at least and give those minutes to Black. I honestly don't get why that's happening. Is it that important to the tanking cause to give Big Bob Rob all those minutes?

Jordans game reminds me a lot of george hills. Bigger guard who doesn't naturally fit the pg position. I think clarkson has a little bit of a higher ceiling though

Very good comparison although I do think JC is a lot more athletic.

Looks to me like Monta Ellis trying to impersonate Steve Nash. He does all the right things like Nash did to protect the ball and you can almost hear his brain screaming "shoot it!", but he tries to pass it still to get his teammates involved.

Shooting wasn't good, lots of TOs, but 10-7-5 is a nice all-around line for a rookie G.
