I'd like to point out one knock on Jim and Mitch, Isaiah Thomas. Maybe Monroe was never an option, maybe some others weren't either, but we wasted time on Aldridge or Melo or whoever it was the year he was a free agent (among other home runs) when I think we had a legit shot at Thomas. And this season, he's an All-Star. So yeah, time to stop passing on "2nd tier talent" and spend some damn money already. If they don't work, they don't work, you can always make trades, but stop standing pat and then scraping the free argent barrel at the last minute.

Weezy, I remember we were all pining for someone like Isaiah Thomas....and then on like the first day, the stupid SUNS went and got him even tho they already had 3 point guards. We were kind of hoping that he would still be available but then he was swooped fast on a very reasonable 4 year 28M deal (which he's easily outperforming now).

He's now a top 10 PG in this league, an all star, and we can kick ourselves once again. UGH

I wanted Isaiah Thomas too. But I also wanted Lance Stephenson. :wasntme: I will say this. With Isaiah Thomas, we would not have gotten Russell. IT would have probably gotten us 5 more wins or so last season. Clarkson also may never have developed last season. The IT oversight is a little easier to swallow when you look at it that way.
