Glad he's back but he's third string. We need to get Vincent healthy and see what he can do or if we need to make a trade in the PG department.
I’m Really trying to remain patient with this kid, but can he at least show a glimpse of something for five minutes in a game?
im not sure what you can expect from a rookie that hasnt played any significant minutes, heck the heralded Cam Whitmore aint doing squat either.
Our scouting department appears to have missed on this one. Still think Hodge is more useful right now than JHS.
I was looking at his physical profile yesterday; he's 6'5" with a 6"10 inch wingspan. in my limited knowledge, guards just take a little longer to develop. Throw him in the G-League, get another round of SL and go from there. He's not needed unless he's a throw in for a trade.
yes, his 1st actual real gm against a top tier team n getting smashed....dont recall max doing much till cam got hurt....try looking at some other lottery pick besides wemby n tell me who from this class balling out?
And after those couple times has been totally inactive in an actual game for 4 or 5 weeks until last night against one of the top teams in the league.
He played in the preseason. It’s not like this was the first time he was ever on a basketball court. “Balling out” and looking for a glimpse of something are miles apart.
5 mins bro, think bout that....the guy every one wanted (cam whitmore), what has he shown? hes played 3gms few mins each
you're right; he hasn't gotten a lot of real reps, and really not many from this year's draft class have come out as valuable players right off the bat. as vlade noted above, he's got great positional size, and (imo) good enough athleticism. he's a strong ballhandler already, and everyone claims he's a good dude off the court and a motivated person in general. it will just come down to whether he's able to get the game to slow down from a mental standpoint, and the only way we'll know is after some seasoning. he's clearly not ready now, but neither are most of the guys his age.
If he can correct that shooting (I don’t think he can while with the Lakers, NBA player turnover is fast) he may have a chance. I disagree with athleticism I think he is a notch above Kendall Marshall there without the almost elite passing
Good ole Kendall. Yeah he had some skills. But I remember him really catching my attention for something at that time I personally hadn’t really been aware of NBA players doing. Shooting without jumping. It seemed just so different.
I think JHS should emulate Kendall, and from the looks of it he almost is there, unselfishness is required when you lack the necessary talent or athleticism
Career capped before it even starts …. may as well pack the bags for China while doing due diligence on Taiwan situation. You’re so bad.
