hey at least we moved him before he fell apart. but even at draft time, many of us were skeptical of that pick. i can't say i wanted tatum (i wanted to move down and take fox), but i didn't want lonzo.

the opportunity cost on whitmore/jacquez/podz is pretty low, though, imo. whitmore's more maggette than mcgrady, imo.

yeah, i think the pick was bad without considering that. you can't blame bizarre injuries occurring post-draft on the scouts/front office.

when his shot came around a bit after leaving, he was looking like what people hoped for. which still wasn't as good as tatum or fox. markkanen and mitchell went after him, too, lol.

 

In hindsight that pick took us 2 titles probably.

 

BTW this bum just keeps on bumming it...he is currently injured (didn't even know he had an injury?) with a back injury, so he will NOT be playing in summer league. Critical blow to a guy that reallyyy needs to show that he belongs in the league. I think Bronny just took his spot and I hope he's on his way out in a trade...

 

he hurt his back at the end of the season and had surgery on it. but he was supposed to be recovered by now.
