    Hurricane heading for Florida this weekend. @trodgers is near Orlando. Thoughts and prayers his way. This thing is hovering between Category 4 and 5. Looking to go straight up the state, right down the middle. Catastrophic! My wife's side of the family is near Orlando and not leaving, which frustrates me. But one of them is up in age and can't get around well and the others won't leave her alone.

    I saw an interesting video today talking about how part of the reason for such catastrophic damage is lax building restrictions with more and more homes/hotels/apartments/etc being put directly in the path of known dangerous areas. Houston built in a flood area, Miami built on the edge of the water, etc.

    Still, what is it now 5 hurricanes? Earthquakes in Mexico/South America, fires in California, Oregon, and Montana... A lot of bad stuff out there right now. I'm just waiting on the Sharknado.

    Whoever pissed off Mother Nature needs to go and apologize ASAP.

    We can go back a bit before the hurricanes with the earthquake in China, then a handful of hurricanes paired with an earthquake off coast of Mexico and California's fires. And then now more hurricanes, Mexico City and Japan earthquake (earlier this morning).
