I was hoping someone knew where they were from. That was really bothering me.

Yeah. Not much of a curve there considering how poorly people are scoring on this test. But he's got tenure, so what can we do?

Here are a few of my own:

    Easy:
What is the significance of "17,505" for Laker fans?

    Medium:
What city did Kareem break the All Time scoring record? Hint: It was against Utah.

    Hard
The 1980 NBA Finals, Game 6, was shown on tape delay because the network didn't want viewers to miss 2 shows that were already on re-runs. What were those 2 shows?

You can post answers here, but please don't cheat. I'll provide answers later tonight.

I guessed on the other show. A total guess, but it was accurate.

I remember staying up until midnight (after the local news) to watch the NBA Finals. I think I was up until 3 am when Ralph Sampson threw in that awkward shot that eliminated us in 86. NBA and television has come a LONG way. Kids today don't realize the struggle. If the local news didn't cover your team in the Sports segment, you had to wait until the next day's newspaper sports section to find out who won (assuming the game ended before they went to print). LOL

I grew up in PA. I routinely went to bed at halftime in the Shaq/Kobe years. East Coast Lakers fans know the struggle.
