    They just can't give any more years than offered Lue. Can't!! Vogel is unemployed with no championship resume and is offered head coach of Lakers for similar money or little less than Lue with the no championship resume for 3 years ..... what has he got to lose?

    Other than his sanity coaching the LeBron James circus?

    This continues to blow my mind. “You can be head coach, Frank, but you have to have this known backstabbing, power-hungry piece of crap human being on your staff as a a spy..er player development coach. Kurt Rambis too, just give him some paper to draw on or something”.

    What's this obsession with Jason Kidd? Good lord, I get that he helped bring Giannis along, but look at the Bucks without him. Also, and I've brought this up before, here's a guy with multiple scandals and a history of wanting to be front and center while not caring at all how he gets there...you're going to pay him millions and inevitably give him one of the most visible positions in Los Angeles, a playground for those type of people? And not just that, but one of the most visible spots in the national sports landscape as well? Jesus H. Christ...

    That’s the real reason for a short 3 yr contract. Knowing you’re going to fire them early and be paying them along with the new head coach you really want at the same time.

    It’s not actually. It’s about the process that has gotten them to this point, not about Ty Lue, to oversimplify it to that degree is not really looking at it honestly.

    Yeah. Silly us. We end up with Vogel, Kidd, and Rambis instead of Lue. What are we worried about?

    We all know about the great X’s and O’s on offense from those three, right?

    And it’s not like any of our other fears have panned out right?

    The Jeannie Buss era has been wonderful and we’ve got the wins to show it.

    Yeah, what’s the problem? Why are we concerned?

    My time is limited today. But I just wanted to pop in and say what you're hearing lines up with the information I received a few days back. Vogel is well liked by Jeanie and Pelinka, and Kidd is their second choice because of Magic and Kurt. Kurt has since withdrawn support and is still pushing for Hollins, but we'll see. I'll quote my old message here from Thursday which had more detail.

    I'm glad the information a few days ago I heard was correct, and is now being reported by the ESPN guys! Makes me feel better about giving you guys the scoop ahead of time :)
