Well at least we know now for sure no free agents will come here. What a joke of franchise.

You're all emotional but what is Kurt doing wrong with the 3 year term limit? That's LeBron's contract. I thought about that before this, too

Maybe the Lakers are determined to hire the first female head coach in NBA history

But as a fallback position, I have reserved the domain name www.askLindaRambis.com

Maybe will have a magic eight ball on there with answers like “Let’s check with Rich Paul”

This stuff is just wild. Like who is in Jeanie’s ear “imploring” her to trade LeBron? Stephen A being his over the top self, or is it the Rambii? I can’t imagine Rob would want his only star gone

You don’t see an issue with the FO having transparency to a laughably incompetent level in their goal with hiring Lue? They gave Luke 5 years. I think Brown, ‘Antoni, B0ron all got at least 4. That’s not insulting and easy to see through for a coach who has won a title already and sees his contract would end when LeBron’s does? That’s terrible management, if Lue isn’t your guy long-term then don’t hire him. If you’re only trying to appease LeBron and you don’t really want to deep down, then friggin trade LeBron, if you don’t want to win at any price then you don’t want to win.

Last thing we need at this time is to hear SAS scream. Media know nothing and do nothing for your business. Lakers need to take their time and get the right person. Looks like that's what they are doing.

At least Mark Jackson isn’t in the pool of candidates lol.

At this point I would go ahead and hire Juwan Howard and have him surrounded by strong assistants.

Problem is, at this point I don’t know who’s available that’s a strong x’s and o’s as lead assistant.

However I would try to pick up strong player development coaches. Normally Jerry Stackhouse would be high on the list but he just signed a 6 year deal with Vanderbilt.... perhaps Adrian Griffin would be a good get. Jimmy Butler credits Adrian Griffin for his development.

Well, we’ve at least guaranteed ourselves out of the running for A list free agents this summer. Good times.

It would honestly be better if Jeanie just made Jesse Buss President or basketball operations, get the hell out of his way and let him do his thing.

Kid has shown he is sharp enough with his work leading the scouting department.

I tend to like this. I don't like any of the names mentioned yet. Going to do some digging. I like JVG but I'm old.
