One thing is for sure, he'll get better assistants. Luke refusing to add quality guys to his staff was beyond r*******.

This time of year work keeps me busy. I'm not bummed about my prediction bc pre-injury we looked very good. I'm feeling good about Lue and next season. I do live in the interior of Alaska and our weather has changed dramatically over the past 35 years. We still stay cold and snow bound for around 8 months but the extremes are not what they used to be. We used to get -65 to -70 a few weeks a year, now -40 for a few days seems cold. I will be around more and still very much a Laker fan.

    Whats taking us so long?

It would be perfectly fitting for this franchsie and FO to wait until Woj breaks how Lue has agreed to coach another franchise...

and then Kurt Rambis takes on the challenge...lol

I think this quote from Woj is the kind of thing that Jeanie needs to respond to. I believe it is totally false. She needs to call out Woj. Tell the press we liked all our coaching candidates we interviewed but decided to go in a different direction from Monty and we wish him luck with the Suns. We realize it’s all about the “clicks” but would appreciate if Woj does not spread rumors he knows are false in the future.

This is the first time media-wise that I’m truly feeling people are out to make us look bad, rather than we are making ourselves look bad. Yeah, Magic stepped down, yeah we’re dysfunctional, I even joked about the LeBron “the shop” clip too. It doesn’t appear Magic has really gone anywhere though, he’s right there for anything LeBron needs, he appears to still have Jeanie’s ear, and now he’s free to tamper to recruit. As far as Monty William, I think it was Pete Zayas (night have been someone on the Jump too) that was saying on one of the last Locked On podcasts before it even happened that Monty would be better in the Suns gig, where he can lead a group of younger players that will listen to him and try and build a culture, and take his time doing it. We have a culture here, it’s LeBron, and trying to win a title while he’s under contract. Monty going to Phoenix doesn’t make us look bad, sorry, it just doesn’t. Of the coaches interviewed, Lue was always the smart choice. I don’t get why we haven’t looked outside the box with guys like Messina, but oh well, that’s another matter. No one here seems to be shedding tears over losing out on Monty. Woj remains a f****** hater for not having inside Lakers sources, and ESPN hosts laughing with him or anyone else about our misfortune is nothing new, f*** them both.
