Not a coaching endorsement but my fondest memory of Lue was that he was the only guy I had ever seen that could kind of stay with Allen Iverson defensively of course the only surviving vids on YT are of failed defensive attempts on Iverson but Lue actually did pester the hell out of him. 2001 there just was no full stopping of AI but no one did a better job on on him than Lue.

I dig it. Nothing substantial but something on the development team. Teach the kids some defense.

Though I was excited to see him and LO play together again.

Agreed. Solid hire that could work out very well if we build up the roster. I think he's going to put together a good staff and it sounds like he's got some good thoughts on what to do with our pieces.

I'm definitely encouraged by all the reports of him being a good X's and O's guy. Hopefully he can hit the ground running and give us a real offense on the floor.

    Bye Lonzo and BI. :dwightcrying:

No way they survive a Lue led team.

    Because they don't shoot 40% from 3?

Too narrow a view IMO considering all the other things they do well if healthy assuming as well 1 year additional improvement. If not traded.

Thinking BI can improve with better spacing principles that Lue implements.

Also thinking Lue will have some real development guys on staff too. I think this is going to be fine for our young guys.

I’m only believing it when I’m seeing it. Tired of speculation, promises, projections, etc

    Ready for results

I hope you’re right, because outside of Kyrie who was ready made, Lue’s history of developing young talent says otherwise.

Love them both but you do realize that brain cells are required to teach.

Developing what young talent? And don't say Sexton's 6 games ffs. Overpaid Clarkson, Nance? wth, what youth dude? Lue's team was centered about LeBron.

To say Ingram would benefit from a Lue offense which would provide more spacing still means you need 3 point shooters to provide that spacing... for both Lebron and Ingram.

There will be continued spacing issues if your starting lineup is Ball/Ingram/Lebron/Kuzma/McGee. It will look just like the Luke Walton offense.

the opponents defense would just give us the 3 point shot and pack the paint (no driving lanes) because they will win every single time if all we do is jack up 3s while shooting low 30% from that range.

Lue will need a different offense bc he doesn't have the same Lebron.

And he’ll be lucky to have him 60 games a year tbh. No reason to think otherwise.

Yo Toklat come around more often. Or have you been hurting from predicting we'd be in at least the conference finals? I was with you had we stayed healthy and even healthier than other contending teams and gotten a chance to jell THIS year.

How's Climate Change your neck of the woods ...... aren't you at the North Pole ..... errrr ..... in Alaska? Anywhere Alaska to me would be like the North Pole. Honest non political question. Where do you live in Alaska and does it seem different climate wise?
