I like Monty a lot. I’m good with Lue though. I think both are an upgrade honestly.

I'm fine with Monty. I'm not so fine with Lue. As somebody else mentioned earlier, if a coach in his early 40's has to miss games due to "anxiety" and "stress", then they shouldn't be coaching.

I'm fine with either one, but I'd rather have Monty. I'm with Elgin. I'm not sad at all to see Luke gone. Lue has a championship under his belt with Lebron so he's automatically better than Luke who has not sniffed the playoffs as a head coach.

Yeah. Coach has to be someone LeBron feels good about. That’s a big plus in the Lue column for me.

I would love for us to hire Monty, but I've pretty much accepted that it is going to be Lue for months now.

If we hire a head coach before replacing Magic that means we're probably promoting Rob. If we are still looking for a new PBO after hiring a head coach, well that just shows how incompetent this front office is.

If being a "players coach" means AD wants to come here, then you hire him.

We can pick up "X's and O's" assistant coaches to back him up.

Uh, what's the hold up Rob?

Unless...he's in a holding pattern for someone else to make that call...(please let it be that)

If Rob Pelinka is responsible for not resigning Julius Randle and trading Zubac I don't think he should be trusted with picking the janitor. Lue and Monty at least have coaching experience but neither one did well for if they had done well they would be coaching now. It would be nice to understand what the plan is. Lets hope they don't stub their toe i the draft due to all this distractions.

To be fair, in Monty Williams’ case, I think he’d already have a head coaching job already if it weren’t for the tragic death of his wife a few years ago. He quit coaching after that, then later returned as like an assistant for team USA, then became Brett Brown’s lead assistant in time in Philly. The time is probably right for him to be a head coach again. I don’t think Lue is bad either, I just have major concerns about his anxiety. But yes, I agree on Rob, dude shouldn’t be in charge of the future of this franchise right now, he has no qualifications for this job.

What exactly is Monty good at? All due respect? Lue had a heart attack in Cleveland, how the hell would he had LA Laker pressure.

Go find the next coach who can be here for the next 10 years not retreads.
