obviously too soon to make any judgments, and i'm sure everyone will be calling for his head after a couple losses, but man it was so refreshing to have a coach who knows when to call TOs. already a night and day difference from ham's d******
Nice read. Liked this from Brooks, “I grew up in California,” Brooks said. “It’s taken me 37 years to be a Laker. I can’t wait to get to the practice facility every morning.”
i was told all of our assistant hires were nearly as stupid as the head coach hire. one thing that was interesting in most of the quotes was this attraction to building something new, and you can infer that most of them think it will take some patience. i'm glad we won the first game, and i liked a lot of what i saw, but there will be some bumps early while trying to figure out a new system on both ends. training camp isn't long enough to do it. there will be some high TO games on offense and some missed assignments on defense for the first 15-20 games, i'm guessing. hopefully, we can shoot well enough in some of those to scratch out wins.
Yeah. Good stuff so far. Hopefully the vibes remain good in the latter part of the season and the staff continues to ease the concerns there were around them.
Ham would've taken an "accidental" elbow to the head and or throat area from consecutive players. His defensive stance is called "pockets"
lol, that's a great story that reminds me of how i felt about kobe--this is a really interesting way to live that i don't live and don't really want to.
First 2-0 start since Phil was in the seat, 13 years ago. Fitting cause JJ is looking like the best coach we've had since then. If this was last year, we lose both of these first two. Really impressed with the resiliency tonight. Then JJ had them mixing up the defensive looks in the 3rd to throw off the Suns rhythm.
