Way too in love with Rondo in my opinion. But hey we got the win. I'll take it.

Tried to insert Waiters early, good adjustment there trying to keep another creator on the floor with Bron. Only he got hurt trying to play D.

The early action he got AD and Bron into looked much better. More face up, more motion, a couple P&R attempts.

Better plan of attack on Harden, on the glass, on defensive spacing and activity. Like what I saw.

Kept Morris' hot hand in instead of going to the usual rotation with Howard.

Props for the 3rd Q adjustment going with Morris.

Can you please do the same in game 4 with Kuz to start the 2nd half? Green needs the fewest minutes of the players who see the court. McGee is getting 7 minutes. Give Green 5, tops.

Getting get more minutes for Kuzma and Morris was a good move

Morris missed 3s but he's a threat and I like man defense

Kuzma has really come on as the season has progressed as well. Good defender and he's a great fit with Lebron on offense

Good adjustments. Just needs to go ahead and start Morris instead of McGee.

Good job by Vogel. I guess his Rondo love was justified.

His instincts have been good so far in the post season. He said he wasn't worried about our "shooters" against Portland and they answered. He stuck by his decision with to play Rondo serious minutes this series, it's paid off big time in 2 of the 3 games. And the one time it didn't, it was his first game back in half a year. In Frank I trust.

He's a great defensive coach and seems to get along very well with the players .

Offensively his strength is also his biggest weakness :

He let his players do what they are comfortable at but he should run way more actions between Bron and AD .

Both are scoring on their own , they are talented so it's working so far but their 2 men game potential isn't exploited at all

I will say this. It's nice to have an NBA quality Head Coach for the first time since Phil Jackson. Yes, this Laker team has Lebron and AD which previous coaches like Mike Brown, Byron Scott and Luke didn't have. But he's making noticeable adjustments. Luke Walton didn't make adjustments. Byron's adjustments consisted of asking his team for a higher level of grit. Frank Vogel is a good coach. He's not perfect, but he's a very good, respectable head coach who will not lose you a bunch of games.

"Good job Vogel, even though Lebron made shots, you had a good defensive strategy and fell into this job because another guy was too dumb to take it, but, ya, pfft, good job anyway, im outta here....."

    He needs an offense coordinator...

But he's been very good otherwise
