Yes, but when you have bacon from Turkey, you have to call it Turkey Bacon. When you have pork bacon, it is just bacon.

It literally took Hambone an entire HALF, after Julius nearly drops 30 on Brown in order for him to wake up and do something different!
Worst coach at making in game adjustments we’ve had in a very long time.

    our Defense continues to suck

RJ Barrett went for 30 shooting 1-8 from 3. Are you kidding me?

Masterful implementation of the zone defense, we did not recover from such stupidity

Zone is good against teams who can't shoot Darvin, not a team shooting well from 3

Such an amateurish move in a crucial but winnable game. I have no words

Feels like another one where the team had to overcome Ham as well as the opponent: Beasley and Brown were clearly not feeling it and they both got more minutes then Reaves? He likes to shoot himself in the foot a lot: likely needed both Rui who matched up with the more physical Randle better then Brown and Reaves into the high 30's this game

    That's what he did lol
What killed us was not having AD OR DLo in the court at all times. Which I believe he did because it will be our core rotation and have LeBron running that 2nd unit while AD/Dlo play mostly together.

If we had this team from the beginning, I think he would made the adjustment but we are in borrowed time trying to build chemistry with this group, so I get it

Yeah. I thought he could’ve staggered DLO and AD better.

Also thought Reaves should’ve played more instead of Troy.

Feel free to box out for a rebound, AD looked like 1 vs 3 fighting for a rebound

Ham has some good attributes. Obviously the players like him and play hard for him. How long that will last with him costing them games I don't know. All I can go by is the games I see. I do not like his coaching instincts, they seem slow. Granted he is a first year head coach but he has been coaching a long time. He has to have run these scenarios through his head many times, or at least he should have. There have been a lot of really good rookie coaches. His poor usage of Austin is a tell for me. He should be starting. Also Dlo and Austin enjoy playing together and complement each other. Austin should be getting mid thirties for minutes and most should be paired with Dlo. Those two will make life miserable for any team we face. Take some of the pressure off of Beasley and let him come off the bench. He will still get good minutes and if he is hot ride him. We have the players to employ an attacking style of defense. With AD and Vando out there we can harass the ball constantly with little fear of getting beat. One of them should always be on the court. Apply relentless ball pressure even if you get beat some early. It will wear the other team down. A fun way to play. There are so many ways to disguise and run surprise trap defenses.

I agree with all of this.
Having a good repoir with all of the guys is something completely different from knowing how to make in game adjustments, as well as knowing which players work the best with one another.

Should have started Gabriel. Game was tight outside of the 1st quarter
