I had them put on Trijicon with green glow in the dark lights. When I first got them, the front sight was really dim and the back left was non-existent. Right side was fine. The gunsmith I used replaced them today.

Never really knew where I stood on guns, but I'll say my first impression after reading through this thread is that it feels wrong to me that this has become such a political issue that this thread is even in the Politics forum. From reading this thread, there's no political discussion. Just a bunch of adults discussing a hobby they enjoy (almost like the Adult Beverages thread in Open Discussion).

Not saying that this thread is in the wrong forum, because obviously there ARE some political stuff to consider that you guys may or may not want to discuss. Just saying that as someone who doesn't really care about guns or know anything about them (and who only hears about them when they become a talking point in the media after gun violence) it's refreshing to actually see the other side of it.

In the spirit of that post you should hit a shooting range at least once in your life! You get an important experience, learn how to handle a gun in the event you need to, and you learn to respect guns up close and personal.

    Also it's a fun hobby!
