Came across this game from the makers of Mass Effect, looks similar. Never really was into open world RPG's just based on the sheer time that I would consume playing it, but this looks pretty cool:
I am. I did buy a PS4 Slim and both of those games and 3-4 others also. But... I haven't even opened the box on the PS4 yet. Been busy lately and haven't gamed in a couple of months at all. I need to take a week off and binge-play.
I think consoles, but I'm sure there will be a PC port. I'm thinking it's supposed to take into consideration the new Xbox One X capabilities.
So I'm playing Sonic 3. With one hand. I was tired of switching back from the d pad to the face buttons, so I put A and B to L1 and L2. I decided to try out a game that only uses one button and I'm doing pretty well. Only died a few times, almost halfway through.
I want to like this game. One thing to note, Mass Effect Andromeda was made by Bioware Canada. This is being made by Bioware Austin if the report I read is accurate. I also read that despite being the same company, they are both almost two entirely different development teams. Meaning if you were one of those people that didn't like the new Mass Effect, this isn't being made by the same people.
Probably going to be one of those boxes that plays old games and nothing else, maybe some mobile app games too. Can't imagine they are doing anything to try and compete in the console wars.
Started playing Killing Floor 2 on PS4 over the weekend and have been having a hard time putting it down.
I'm not much of a iphone gamer (cell phone games) but the game, Ballz is both addicting and really satisfying My highest score I've gotten so far is 174
Finished Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Starting playing Castlevania 4, another game I've bean a million times, and by far the easiest of the series. I have them recorded and eventually I will post them all of them and future episodes on YT, I'm just holding off on pay day next week to get a proper camera setup and work on my delivery. Anyway I'm hoping people watch and watch and realize that they can also play video games with one arm. Here's a sample of what what I've got in store.
Currently playing Breath of the Wild on the Switch. The DLC just came out, and the new harder Master Mode is brutal but oddly enjoyable. The Switch is the perfect console for when you have young kids. After they sleep, I take it out and play in handheld mode. I doubt I will be done with BoTW anytime soon. It has so much content and I can only put in 2-3 hours a couple times a week.
Has anyone here played The Witcher 3? I've heard a lot of great things about it so I picked it up on sale a few months ago. Finally finished some other games in my backlog (Final Fantasy XII and Danganronpa) so feel like now would be a good time to start The Witcher ... but I could use some motivation. Sounds like the kind of game that is gonna demand 100+ hours of playtime. Is it really that good?
Well, I'm the retro gamer (partly by choice) I've been playing Ghosts and Ghouls, and Streets of Rage 2 for Gen and Zelda for the NES. I'd love to get into Skyrim again. I used to have it on a PS3, now I'd have to PC. I'm not sure it can handle it, and I need to find a use my controller with one hand. Regarding Wither, never played but I've seen let's plays and it look fun.
Its probably going to demand 100+ hours unfortunately, but on the positive side: - Great interactive story - Great visually - Gameplay is great (in my opinion) Its one of the few games my partner has enjoyed watching and been involved through the whole thing, id recommend it to anyone.
