I was so happy they killed off Osha. I couldn't stand that character. The way the actress was always lilting her head from one side to the other like an unbalanced orange on a toothpick drove me absolutely insane.

No lie, I cheered out loud when it happened. Good riddance.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of hers, but it was kind of weird how they brought her back for just a minute to kill her. By the time they brought her back people weren't invested in her character anymore.

If you are going to bring her back, at least have her take off her clothes again. Give us something to care about.

The entire "north storyline" becomes a bigger joke than the Dorne one. GRRM should move his fat a** and finish at least one of the books before D&D botch the whole freakin saga.
At least the Hound is back :).

Whats wrong with it? I'm enjoying it. You can only fit so much in an hour an episode. It just kinda shows that the novel is probably too big for the TV medium, tho it's doing a fantastic job trying to portray all that's happening. The Starks are making a comeback, how can no one like that? The hound is back. The blackfish is back and is badass..

The show doesn't have that same charisma/realistic medevial time theme going for it much anymore. It's cause the story needs to expand in size, and it's touching in various parts of the world. Still one of the better television shows out there...

The Glover speech was stupid (i guess they're realy going with LF the hero plan). Jon and Sansa looking like a dumb and dumber. No ghost to be seen. Who the actual f*** writes the lines for Asha (i refuse to call her Yara). Brotherhood without banners (i guess it was them), killing people (women, children) just like that. The Arya stabbing scene was lame and so on and so on. Whan you go back and rewatch season 1 or two and compare it to the last two, it's like a night and day...

I disagree. I loved the scenes of Jon and Sansa trying to recruit the Northern families.

But at the same time, I guess I agree with you lol. The books seem to have been setting up a conspiracy where the North has always been on the Stark side and they're just playing the Boltons. That is definitely much more intriguing but I guess harder to go through in a show with 50 minute episodes.

I've loved this season. If I got nitpicky, I could definitely point out some issues that I'm sure will be better executed in the books, but at this point I'm just glad to see the plot ramp up at such an expedited pace. They're definitely rushing some plot lines that could be better over a few hundred pages of writing, but I'm okay with that because after so many years, I really do just want to see how the broad strokes of the overall plot play out.

I really don't have an issue with the show's pace. I mean I don't read the books, but I don't feel like they're rushing much. Dragon Queen (don't know how to spell her real name) has been developing for six years! Sansa and Jon haven't been in control of Winterfell for six years. Bran and Rickon have been developing for a long time. The only story I feel is beginning to feel rushed is everything in the capital. Honestly I had trouble following it a bit, but it all seems okay.

I think there's good development happening right now. The last two episodes have been pretty developmental. If anything I'd like to see a lot more Jon/Sansa making those calls instead of Sandor Clegane's return. What's up with that? It felt like a new story that we didn't need, but I'm willing to be patient.

So a few of these are not valid. Sansa and Jon SHOULD look like dumb and dumber based on the characters we have been given over the course of 5 seasons. They have zero experience in any of this stuff. They shouldn't be pros. Ghost isn't there because Ghost is so big it is expensive to show him in the same shot as Snow. He is far bigger than the normal wolves they were using at first.

I will agree that the Bw/B randomly killing was pretty out of left field. From what we know about them in this show, they should wouldn't have done that.
Well, there is a theory about why he's back and it relates directly to another one of the major story lines. I'll put the theory in a spoiler tag below. It's not confirmed or anything. It's just a hypothesis.

That he will fight the Mountain in Cercei's trial by combat. She'll send out the Mountain, and the Hound, now being a friend of the Seven Gods, will be their representative.

I've enjoyed this season more than the last few actually.

I love the pace right now, but I didn't read the novels specifically because I didn't want it to interfere with my experience watching the show.

Wow how does that work? Isn't Hound like way out in the wilderness somewhere? He'd have a hell of a time getting all the way back to the Capital and then someone picking him as a representative. That's a lot of ground to cover.

Well, if Jon and Sansa can travel the entire North in one episode (which normally take months), im sure Sandor can teleport himself to KL just like that ;).

Did they travel the whole North? I thought they only visited like 2-3 houses.

    Well yeah but still ;)
If the "North remembers" Jon and Sansa should NOT look like dumb and dumber. A Bolton bastard keeping Rickon hostage (not to mention red wedding), should be more than enough for the northeners to move their fat butts.

We have no idea where the Hound is. They're apparently near where the Brotherhood without Banners is traveling, and last we heard the Brotherhood has been around the Riverlands (where Jaime apparently traveled to within one episode). On top of that, I'm not sure that each plot line is necessarily on the same timeline. In the books it's definitely not. For all we know, the events in this episode pertaining to the Hound could've happened around the same time as Cersei's walk of shame.

I definitely think it's feasible that the Hound will be back in King's Landing by the end of this season meaning we'll likely get Cleganebowl, but I'm still not sure what his motivation would be.

He HATES the Lannisters for all the atrocities they made him commit. It's why he left in the first place. And that scar on his face...that's his brother's doing, so I'm not sure he needs much more motivation than that.

Maybe, but everyone is all pissed off in the North all the time. I don't see anything wrong with their plot line.

Oh I'm fine with the idea, just interested to see how it gets to that point.

Oh, no doubt about that. But after what just happened, I'd feel like his immediate next step would be to go after the Brotherhood Without Banners. He probably doesn't even know that the Mountain is in King's Landing or that Cersei is about to go on trial.

Oh, yeah. I agree with that. But I think his connection with the Faith of the Sevens in this little tidbit will connect somehow with The High Sparrow asking him to fight for them.
