If Bron and AD are going to be the only two to treat this like a series against the defending champs, this is over in 4.

Rui I'm willing to give a pass for battling Joker, that's the strategy and that's going to kill your legs offensively.

The rest of the team was absolute garbage. Mainly looking at DLO after an early tease and Austin, they were pathetic.

Ham... what a joke. A blind double amputee could draw up a better offense.

Nothing has changed from last year. They have 2 dependable players and 6 -7 rotation guys that you have no idea how good or bad they will play.

The last thing we need is another midget chucking low-probability shots.

AD was great other than that ugly 3 ball. Lebron disappeared in the 2nd half. 10-16 and 7 turnovers?? why the hell are you forcing passes that aren't there. Shoot the damn ball. Dlo is trash against the Nuggets as usual. Reaves needs to be more aggressive..

We have no one who can even body Jokic.. It's a huge problem. Also we have no offensive bench.. Murray ain't going 9-24 often... Missed opportunity.

    Good: 1st quarter
Bad: DLo, AR and Rui all held below their season averages. BTW, Rui on Jokic ain’t working.

    I hope
Dlo comes around to prove everybody wrong. I feel bad for the guy. Seems like unfortunately the pressure from struggling last playoffs against Denver has got into his head. I really hope that is not the case. If it continues and we get eliminated, it increases the likelihood of us going after Trae. Getting Trae would not be the end of the world, he's a great PG. As I mentioned previously, Dlo is the cleaner fit and less expensive, but maybe Tre does better in the playoffs? Idk.

Bueno: AD and LeBron(minus all the turnovers).

Malo: Every other Laker, including our fool of a coach.

LeBron James I feel quit on his team in the 4th quarter, how did he not take a shot until the last few minutes of a game when we needed to make a come back.

He also seemed unhappy about something with the bench

Most of us spoke about our ability to execute down the stretch, this time we fell apart from the end of the 2nd quarter right to the end.

How can you keep jacking up 3s when we were in the bonus?

we wasted a great AD performance on both ends. stood up jokic in isolation on several occasions and was our best offensive option by far. people bagging on the threes but those were shots he needed to take, save maybe one. and they mostly rattled out.

in the end, as i kept harping on in the game thread, during crucial stretches their secondary players (specifically mpj and kcp last night) hit some tough shots to either gain or keep separation. our guys (dlo and reaves primarily) missed easier ones, imo. that was the primary difference. we did a pretty good job on murray and as good a job as can be done on jokic. and they won comfortably.

not good. not sure there's an answer in the bag, either. i will say that i'd like to see dinwiddie get more minutes and be more aggressive.

Are we really saying in 9 straight games, we haven't got hot and shoot Denver off the floor? Or been able to play winning basketball in anyone of them.

    Damn, this really hurts

Well its really 8 straight. The first loss was in January of last year. It was before the trades, and Lebron and AD were out.

The last 8 however.... Very similar script.

good point on the odds of just having a crazy hot shooting night. at this point it's starting to feel like a curse. i mean, we can't have one good long-range shooting night that buries them? the wizards do that once in 8 games!

sorry but we just suck as a basketball team, our offense can't produce much apart from AD/Lebron iso plays.

Lebron’s last shot was bad. Denver hit everything down the stretch as usual.

Not enough from our role players either.

    Off-season starts soon.

feel bad for AD. Another wasted great game.

Well, that was just horrible. Not much else to say. Demoralizing to go from 20 up to losing the effing game. Where's the pride and the heart?

Good: D'lo, AD's performance, Lebron showed up to help us in the 4th (outside of his wide open 3), we finally get them to brick a ton of shots

Bad: those periods in the 2nd half where the offense looked clueless, the TOs, the ending...

We really aren't going to beat them huh?
