Im glad we lost as this team and its coaches need to wake the f*** up. An extra play in game will make them open their eyes even wider i guess...

Lakers on a BTB on the road take a 16 point lead into the 4th Q, are up 5 with 12 secs left, lose by 1.

Sometimes when you're careless with the ball, you lose. You can be the greatest player ever and still f*** up.

I'm not even playing and I'm fatigued after that one.

    Lebron:
"Horrible turnover by myself," James said after finishing with 17 points on 8-for-20 shooting, 12 assists, 2 steals and a team-high four turnovers."

    AR:
"I think the miscommunication might've been I was trying to hold [his defender] off instead of popping to the ball," he said. "I take just as much as responsibility as I'm sure he did. Hopefully we'll talk about it and figure it out so next time that won't happen."

    from Dave McMenamin's coverage.

Personally, I think the season is over. Of course we will get into the playoffs, but I doubt we even get into the second round but if we do that will be as far as we go.

That was about as bad of an end game collapse as I've seen. This was gut wrenching.

When we were in that win streak, just weeks ago, I thought this group had collectively found their killer instinct.
Maybe it’s just the crazy amount of games that they’ve had to play during this recent stretch that’s worn them down? I’m not sure, because aside from LeBron and maybe DFS(31), our team is not NBA old at all.
Wait, I got it: it’s because Luka’s fat. Yeah, that must be it.

Right - WON. Excellent team FT shooting. “Only” 13 TOs. Great scoring balance overall, especially from the big 3: AR 31, Luka 29, LBJ 25. Gabe 15, Rui 13, DFS 11.

Wrong - outscored in the paint 64-38. Largest lead WAS 20 (could have put this in either category).

I do think the team is tired: clear issues is they are able to get big leads but not keep it. That speaks to fatigue.
Combo of fatigue and 2 started not being fit yet (neither Lebron or Rui look "right" compared to what they were doing before they got hurt)

That being said when Rui shows flashes the team looks like it go to another level - size/shooting/cutting is something that kind of makes everything click

Good win on the road against a good Memphis team. They did everything they didn’t do to close out the game against the Bulls. My biggest gripe was with JJ’s lineups, which at times can be puzzling particularly with going small.

We got the win, but this game kinda irks me a little on that point. Look..I get that going small usually forces bigs off the floor. And again we pretty much controlled the game for the most part.

The thing for me, is that sometimes, you are not always going to force size off the floor, and playing small can lead to fatigue. Bigs are out there for a reason. Most of them aren't great scorers, but thier boards, picks/screens, and overall physicality, can still impact a game.

You can wear your guys out, playing small all the time. It's a cumulative thing too, dead legs start popping up over 4-5 game stretch. Especially with this crazy schedule we have.

I thought Hayes should have gotten a little more burn. But I'm not going to complain about beating a team on the road, that was basically tied with us in the standings.

Much needed win to keep the 4 spot for now and hopefully for the rest of the way. Good stuff.
