Too bad, at least he was playing solid D. THere's still some hope he'll be able to suit up. On the other hand, the Clips are literally 8 deep, so it's not like they have some kind of advantage here.

Next man up. No problem when you have great depth. Be cool to win short handed

He finally hits a 3, and then this…

Honestly while I do think we’ll miss his defensive effort and the depth he gives us, I think opening more minutes for Max and giving Gabe a bit of a reset after a horrendous start will overall be good for us

It's like the second law of thermodynamics,
Never sign Miami Heat roleplayers as their performance dissipates almost immediately upon leaving the Heat.

No matter how tempting. Whatever they put in the water there and the Spoelstra magic just doesn't last

Perfect … now we got a water on the knee problem which doesn’t sound like a quick fix, same as Vando’s heel.

Hindsight is everything obviously, but damn, we should have given this contract to Dennis.

Hopefully, Toronto goes mediocre and we can just flip Gabe and some non first round assets to get Dennis back at the trade deadline

Should have given this contract to Wood.i like Dennis, but I don't consider him to be, the missing piece to the Championship puzzle, or anything.

Miami has been hustling us with these injured guards lately. If they are letting guys walk...there might be something up.

It was not a horrendous start. Maybe in the first game, because after that:

    With Vincent: +28
    Without Vincent: -25

    That's not horrendous.
We will miss his defense and rotation gets clunky between Reaves/DLo, let's see how we cope, not good news.
JHS needs to get speed up

Yeah, we'll definitely miss his D. When's Vando coming back? At least Prince will be ready to play really soon. He could probably play right now if it was really necessary.

The Miami Heat playoff superstar point guard curse continues. Bring up Hodge and let’s roll.

Yeah why the H not give him a shot off the bench when it seems least dangerous to do so, not talking about garbage time. He's reputed to be a good defender and quick fire stroke on his good 3 ball. Tell him to just play within himself and take care of the ball and play D. But Ham's so stubborn and I don't think has the balls to give the undrafted rookie that kind of look.

is jhs still bone bruised, too? that's ok. i'm good with max playing some of gabe's minutes. we just need to make sure max isn't out there without lebron or dlo, imo.

I’ve actually been more impressed with Hodge than JHS. JHS has the better upside, but Hodge is more right now NBA ready. Plus, he’s an older rookie too.
