Sadly I was right about this guy from the start, since addiction tears a person apart. There is no escaping from that constant crave, until the junkie is put in a grave.
That account is really sad actually. To hear him speak about how people still don't know and he's doing this thing or that thing and the coaches don't get it... Then he fails the drug test and it's clear the pressure got to him after falling out of the rotation, but man that's a tough thing for an addict.
Blue isn't a bad player. He had one start in the NBA and nearly triple doubled. I think in the NBA he shoots a bit less and does a little bit more otherwise. In the D-league, he's a gunner, and he's more talented than most of the D-league guys, so he's successful.
He'd be a perfect call up right now considering how little talent we've got at the wing position, but of course that's assuming the Lakers would want to win a game or two. Instead we'll keep running PFs at SFs just for fun.
Addiction is a very real thing. I can only speak from what little experience I had. I was on pain killers (Vicodin, so not even strong stuff) for only a month or so after a surgery I had. But when I stopped taking them, even though it was only a month, it was unpleasant and I had some withdrawals. I did indeed crave the stuff for about a month after I stopped. I know the withdrawals were minor, but so was the pain killer. If he is addicted to cocaine (waaaaay stronger than Vicodin), I can only imagine how bad it is for someone like him or someone on heroin. To say the poor guy is "Dead to me" is pretty heartless.

lol Zu's face in that dunk. from what i've seen, bryant has been quite successful in the g-league so far.
Mayday .... mayday ..... none of youse guys tweets are loading for me today on my Mac setup. First sirron where I whined like a little girl because didn't know why he was using the ralphing smiley, and now this one too. EDIT. Never mind me, not that you were , now the tweets are showing up. Some kind of temporary glitch earlier.
According to this he's averaging 20.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks. He's also shooting 53% from the field and 30% from deep. He's also averaging a steal per game as well as over 2 turnovers.
I want to see the guy get some minutes on the big squad when the big squad is wanting to be the small squad. Him and Julius the beast crashing around out there while Bryant can shoot as well might be really effective in short bursts.
