As something of a continuation from CL since I know a fair amount of us play...how's your team(s) doing so far?

    I have 1 team that's killing it, 5-0; one team that's god awful 1-3-1

Garbage. Stafford and Brandon Marshall are killing me. And I can't seem to find a consistency with my tight ends even though I have Antonio Gates and Vernon Davis. I've had Romo on the bench just rackin up points, but I'm gonna sit him out against Seattle.

I SHOULD have a better week this week, I picked up Brandon Oliver from San Diego as my RB2. Kid looked good. He was already better than Donald Brown, but with Brown's injury, he should see more action.

3-2 so far. Montee Ball has been a real letdown and now with this groin injury who knows how he'll be when he returns. I was able to pick up Hillman so if anyone is going to pick up the slack I hope it's him.

@lakerfan2 yeah i like oliver a lot. i know its an easy comparison (and maybe premature based on 1 game) but i think he could be a new sproles for the chargers

@XXIV hillman's a decent pickup, he should be getting more work than anderson

3-2 in a PPR. Megatron has killed the masterpiece I've created with my team. That and the fact I roll the dice on a QB weekly.

    QB - Roethlisberger
    RB - Foster / Jennings / Bradshaw / Forsett / Jackson
    WR - Megatron / Dez / Sanders / Quick
    TE - Olsen / Kelce
    DST - Bengals / Seahawks
    K - Bailey

If I can get a healthy Tron the 2nd half of the season, I like my chances.

So who steps up in the New England backfield? Vereen didn't do squat yesterday. James White has been a healthy scratch all season. Bolden finally got some carries this last week.

@therealdeal i don't want any part of that group but bolden would be the one with the highest upside i think. i have vereen in one league and even with ridley going down i'm dropping him for antone smith on ATL

I had just picked up Vereen off the wire as a speculative add. He's averaging over 5 yards a carry and if it wasn't for Ridley's usual spurt of great running, he'd be getting more opportunities.

I think he's GOT to be the guy right? Unless they opt to go for James White who seems to mirror Ridley's style a bit more.

im sure vereen will get his touches, i just dont have much faith in him. i think bolden is probably more talented than him

The only problem I have with Vereen is health, not ability. The guy has proven to be a good back when given opportunities. He just seems to get hurt a lot.

I'm not saying he's a starter even in the League, but he's certainly a decent enough running back. More of a check down guy, but some backs make a living off of a career like that.

I made a couple of moves today. Added Andre Holmes and Josh Gordon. I'm hoping Gordon can help me out come playoff time (if I make it).

    currently at 2-4

i have guys like rodgers, quick, and wallace who have been pretty consistent thus far but i also have aj green and ryan mathews injured, and an inconsistent wideout in torrey smith and frank gore starting at RB. the past 2 weeks, my opponents have gotten a combined 100+ pts from their RB's which hasn't helped out either

I lucked out with an easy matchup last week.

Going up against the #1 in my league. I have a higher projected, but he's got more consistent guys.

My wins always come down to how my QB and WR3 performs. This week, it's Romo and Malcolm Floyd. I benched that fool Stafford.

Stafford without Megatron has been rough.

I've got a layup this week against the last placed team, but without AJ Green and now Kelvin Benjamin has a concussion... Could be closer than I want it to be.

I started Vereen last night and was very happy with his performance. I just hope this continues throughout the rest of the season.
