haha, makes sense so far to me. Granted there are others I would have taken but the kind of players, stashing this last pick so it doesn't count toward our cap space all makes sense.

    Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk
Shooting Guard SG 6-8" 212 lbs
    Kansas

    About Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is a young senior guard who ranked among the top spot up shooters in college basketball last season showing marked improvement in a several areas to cap off his college career. A highly regarded player in his native Ukraine, Mykhailiuk emerged as one of the most intriguing young players in Europe averaging 25.2 points, 8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game at the 2013 FIBA U16 European Championship. Mykhailiuk played significant minutes for Cherkaski in the Ukrainian 1st Division the following season before opting to make the jump to the NCAA and enroll at Kansas at just 17 years of age. Playing a small role over his first two seasons in Lawrence, the young guard improved as an upperclassman and averaged 14.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game as a senior to help Kansas to the Final Four, earning All-Big XII Second Team honors in the process.

    • Measured 6’7.75 in shoes with a 6’4.75 wingspan and an improving 212-pound frame at the 2018 NBA Draft Combine. Has great height but below average length for a shooting guard to go along with good explosiveness with a head of steam and adequate quickness.
    • Played a significant role for a talented Kansas team emerging as an extremely reliable floor spacer. Did the vast majority of his damage as a set shooter both in the half court and in transition. Showed improvement as a passer, but was not asked to create for himself or others off the dribble regularly.
    Defensive Analysis

    • Capable defender who competes, but lacks the length to be consistently impactful or offer much versatility. Allowed 0.762 points per Isolation possession[54th percentile] holding his own in one of the best conferences in college basketball. Not the quickest defender, but stays at home defensively and takes few risks. Makes an effort to help and recover aggressively. Could be more physical, particularly when fighting over screens.

Yeah I just heard them say it on ESPN, not too hard. Bilas was laughing at his wingspan, “he’s 6’8 with a 6’5 wingspan, he’s minus 3, ha ha ha”.
