Given that Lonnie Walker was a kid who was in our practice facility, I feel like that is our target if we trade up.

The key is: how the f*** do we trade up?

Seriously, we can’t be wasting assets to move up in this draft. We need those assets to dump Deng.

He's pretty raw, so it might come off the iq side as well early on. :D

I'm telling you guys, I really like this kid. Great head on his shoulders, good work ethic, plays with tremendous heart. If we get him in the 2nd, I'd be happy about it.

If Rob can somehow move up in the draft while shedding Luol Deng, we need to build that man a statue right now.

Although, that might mean attaching another young stud to Deng to do it like we did with D'Angelo...

We don’t have any young studs to spare in a Deng dump. It has to be multiple 1st round picks and hopefully Zubac and/or Bryant. If someone says Josh Hart again

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Lonzo honestly at this point. The rest of the kids look like such smart guys with such little baggage. I mean Hart, Kuzma, and Ingram all look like total studs. Now, Lonzo by all accounts is working too, but still. The crap with his family, the weak body, the diss track. Right now I'd say he's the lowest on the totem pole even if I think he's the best basketball player of the bunch.

I'm not saying that's the move, but if it had to be a kid?

The last time we saw/heard such strong dialogue towards a player in the draft, a big trade occurred that used LA as leverage. Why do I get the feeling the same thing is happening again?

Ironically, Philly and Boston draft 26 and 27 respectively. Boston leveraged us to make Philly pull the deal for #1. Philly looking to do the same to the cbags with the 10th overall pick (again ironically which they got from us)?

They'd be the only ones reporting a Zhaire Smith meeting, that's for sure.

I'm honestly not very high on Smith in comparison to other similar players. I wouldn't reach on Smith if I can get a number of solid wings later. I don't dislike him, I know Draftexpress and ESPN love him.

My sneaking suspicion is that the guarantee to Robinson rumor and now this Zhaire thing may all be related. If Zhaire is projected to go mid 1st round, well the Clips have 12 and 13, but were rumored to want to go up.

Boston was rumored to trade up to get Bamba. Boston chooses at 27 and is hoping Robinson falls to them with LA choosing at 25. Boston has used us to leverage Philly last summer. I feel like they're doing it again with another team. Monroe certainly didn't work out for them and Horford is more of a 4.

Is this all part of some Deandre Jordan trade? Or is it just some elaborate way to get free tacos?

He'd be quite entertaining though on the brakes and lobs. Looking at his highlights, dude can get up there on put backs and lobs, he's jumping over people that has position on him on put backs.

Oh he's one hell of an athlete and by all accounts a good kid/hard worker. He's just not all that skilled. It's a potential based pick (not that that's a bad thing).
