I'll be shocked if they go Shamet. I've been watching a fair amount of Okogie.

Yeah. I just find it weird this is the second different person to report this.

I think the Lakers are letting his agent use us to inflate the kid's value. If teams from 15-24 think Robinson wont be there with their 2nd round pick, maybe they use a 1st on him.

Mitchell Robinson doesn’t look like a basketball player. He has a lot going for his physical attributes and athleticism, but everything I’ve seen from him shows a lack of fundamentals and over reliance on his athleticism.

Kostas Antentokoumpo looks more polished than he does.

Bamba would be a perfect addition for Boston to neutralize Embiid. Those two teams will battle for the East at least the next 5 years and Horford can’t handle that. Just like in the 80’s.

True, but maybe Cbags promised him their pick and LA made him/his agent reconsider. With LA @25 and Boston @27, both might be attempting to rook each other with big men misdirection, cause other than Ayton, it's Robinson and Bamba as the only true 1st round centers in the draft.

LA threatens Boston that we'll pick Mitchell @25 if they decide to stand pat and pick him @27. Boston counters with moving up for Bamba???

Three point shooting would be a game changer in terms of fit for this team. If he really can shoot, that adds a different element to our interest. I still feel like he's not the kind of kid Magic and Rob like, but athleticism is tremendous. In the exhibition games against his peers he stood out as an athlete among guys like Robert Williams and DeAndre Ayton so there's something there.

How's Robinson running the floor and defensively say if he had to guard a Capella or Gobert?

He's a better athlete than Gobert, but his defensive instincts are unknown really. There's not much footage on him and what we have is either high school or an exhibition. His shot blocking numbers rival Nerlens Noel who was/is billed as a rim protector. Robinson is an incredible, intense athlete, but there's massive question marks about his personality, maturity, and approach.

Doesn't seem to be a ton going on upstairs, but seems like a nice, earnest kid. Some serious questions about how serious he is about the game.

You think Lakers would be foolish to risk it for the reward? Also do you believe where in a position to risk it for a player like him say if Divi or huerter are there? What if both those guys are gone, does that change things?

I mean, he is super athletic, but he’s also skinny as hell. We’ve see effective a hd like Noel is with that frame, and it’s not very. Also, I’m honestly still surprised to hear us talking about using the 25th pick so much, I’d still think top priority for it is to trade it to dump Deng. I’d be looking at 2nd round guys mostly.

You're right, we need to draft Jason Allen.
