DRAFT TALK Thread: Looking Like Lonzo

Yeah he reminds of Kevin Love with his long chest passes on the outlet and is ONLY going to turn into a much more physical player. I can't wait to see him if we take him what he's going to look like come start of the season.

 

I'm actually more excited to have Lonzo than Paul George, that's how fun he is to watch. I watched a ton of his UCLA games and he does not dominate the ball, in fact he speeds up the pace and knows when to take his shots in the flow of the offense. He's Jason Kidd with a 3 pointer. Can't wait to draft this kid

 

Exactly. Magic in his showtime days would throw those amazing bullet passes or bounc passes from 30 feet away, it was a thing of beauty.

I really don't think many of the Ball haters have watched many UCLA games.

I think people outside of LA just aren't as blown away by him.

Now don't go putting all the praise on him for that for crissakes before we see the rest of the players and maybe Lonzo plays a game or so. The guy is going to have his welcome to the NBA punk games in him as well.

Well you're stating almost as fact he won't be able to play the game in the NBA that he has made his career and reputation on thus far to MOST scouts and Magic and Luke's opinions. Period. No. Now he will have to "dominate the ball" and become a completely different kind of point guard. Not hating at all. Just saying that's a whack take with nothing to suggest it's true. Because of one scouting person's report, where others mention he penetrates reasonably well ..... with the highest % at the rim over any other top lottery picks out there! In addition to all the other impressive attributes he has to play HIS way. Not yours.

 

i'll say it for the eleventy billionth time: people are disrespecting jason kidd.

Draft Express second workout: Shooting

 

I think the Lakers have their fill of stupid haircuts on one team. It's nice to see a normal haircut, Ball is good.

 

Ball needs to improve his FT shooting.

 

It's been proven that men who change their hairstyles often also struggle with their sexual identity.

I'm surprised no one has brought this up that I've seen. I guess guys have a hard time rooting for a gay Kid star athlete.

I also think that in addition to being a bit immature, this is also why he'll never truly be able to lead a locker room of grown men.

Hopefully he comes back in tremendous shape, and Magic flips him for a decent return before he comes out. I can't even imagine the media circus once that happens. Im sure Kevin Ding will be covering it.

In addition to the bolded letters, I just want to say #theoffseasonislong when you are not in the playoffs. Some teams have been off so long like us they are probably as fat as our guys.
