    gold. eat it, tankmasters.

they, too, don't deserve a high pick, but if the lakers don't pull some serious magic this summer, they'll get a top 5 pick next year.

actually feel a little bad for them. this was the only real takeaway from the howard trade, and it's now second rounders. though, in retrospect, maybe that was fair value?

Lottery drawers took one look at Rob and said, here's the 2nd pick
Yup. I believe it too. I think the Lakers are a year away from the big free agent splash. In the mean time, Lakers have young studs that can grow together and starting winning next year and maybe get to the playoffs.

Also, 2018 is when Moz and Deng are half-way through their 4 year deals. Making it easier to dump them or stretch them without paying too much. Freeing up room to sign more FA's than just PG.

Didn't know Lonzo's mom suffered a stroke and can't even talk right now...

might also be able to move mozdeng for longer term contracts at lower money, too. this summer is one for renting out cap space for future picks and dumpster diving. key additions need to be made via trade if at all.

Yes sad situation. They're a tight family. As loud as Lavar is he's all about his family.

So that means Magic/Rob dont plan on signing anyone this off-season to avoid affecting the cap....yea Phi getting a top pick next yr, unless dlo turns into prime harden and ingram is great on both ends, we in the 30win range again

Also... with the type of 3s he takes, the fact that he shot 40% is amazing.

    Why, yes, I AM rationalizing.

Woke up at 4am as I couldn't sleep to see that we have moved up! Phoenix must be feeling great right now.

I would have taken Lonzo over Fultz even if we had the #1 pick. We don't need an athletic version of D'Angelo in Fultz. I'm not a fan of having 2 score-first guards.

Not saying i wouldnt like to be in cbag position but its not all roses for them.....one of it/bradley and fultz wont be happy, cause 1 will have to come off the bench, i dont see any of the 3 being happy, both IT/Bradely looking to get paid next yr and of course as a #1 pick you don't want to be coming of bench especially with that ego and goals fultz has

The C Bags are in the Eastern Confernce Finals with home court advantage and just won the lottery.

I'd love to be in their position.
