doesn't matter which yr he makes it, if it was this yr he could sign an ext. If its next yr he'll just get the 5 yr super max thats more than 200mill. People just dont expect him to make it this yr. If he plays anything like the last 1/4 of this past season, he's gona make for sure next season

I definitely like Fox and he's a more natural defender than Ball. If we picked Fox, I wouldn't be disappointed.

Ball's ability to change the offensive dynamic though is going to shine with this particular team where nobody passes the ball. He encourages ball movement. I genuinely believe that Ball can increase the value of our other young kids in a BIG way. I think Ball can make Randle and Russell more efficient. I think it frees Clarkson to be a 6th man scorer again. Fox provides a great spark for us, but I think the offense continues to be inefficient as guys keep the ball too long (looking at Clarkson, Randle, and Russell).

Yeah that's my concern. I don't think he makes it this year, but why couldn't he next year? That has to be a real concern if we wait on him in free agency.

how bout we finally do the unthinkable and trade back with Phi and get our 18' pick back? I think Fox can be just as good as Ball in their peak, just in different ways. Doesn't hurt to get 18' pick back and still add a dynamic talent like Fox

there's no chance the Pacers make it past Feb without an extension from George. If he won't sign one, they'll move him by the deadline, if not sooner.

I don't disagree with you at all, I see next level passing ability in Ball, the same stuff Ben Simmons displayed in what little we saw of him. Ball is extremely unselfish, fantastic passer, definitely a winner mentality, can shoot from deep, and despite his father, seems like a genuinely humble kid. If we took him, I'd be good with that.

A guard who can break down a defense and get to the rim? We wouldn't know what to do with him.

I'm just saying it now. I will NEVER make a Lavar gif emoji.

Lonzo yes. Lavar no. I'm ready for him to go away already even if the Lakers don't pick Lonzo.

Lakers need players with an unrelenting will to win and Lonzo is that guy. And frankly, Lavar's supreme confidence could be useful too. Maybe it will rub off on some of the other players.

On another note, the Lakers get three #2 picks in a row. Hmmmm...

Yeah Lonzo is the right pick. Not necessarily because he's the best talent available but because I feel he will make Russell much much better.

If we take Josh Jackson I will be pissed. Not a fan at all, game is ugly. You take a real offensive game changer like Ball like real said, or you move the pick for an all-star, you don't gamble on a maybe like Jackson. Shoot I'd be happier trading down for JUSTIN Jackson.

That's who I was referring to. Fox can DEFINITELY break down a defense and get inside and kick it out to Monk... I mean Ingram or D'Angelo.

I'd be happy with him. But I'm taking Fultz or Lonzo first.

Russell, Randle, Ingram...hell, even Moz might be useful again.

Y'know, usually when I hear #2, I go looking for brown gifs.

But today just feels different. Sometimes #2 can make you feel so good.

I have such relief after this big #2 that I actually feel lighter. Weird.

Especially with Ingram on the roster. That means Jackson is a big 2 guard. I like his defense and athleticism but not over what Ball or Fox can bring.

The really interesting thing will be if Boston doesn't take Fultz.
