    Ball was more important to his team than any of these players. Took a team that was 15-17 the year before and turned the team into a 31-5 team. Just one guy. That's a lot of impact from an 18 year old.

    I don't know that they don't agree.

    Really there has been one report about Lonzo's conditioning not being great in an individual workout (the report including disclaimers that you can't put too much stock in individual workouts), a few reports of them also liking Fultz and Jackson (with a followup about Jackson's second workout being underwhelming), and suddenly the talking heads have ran with that and turned it into the Lakers having major concerns about Lonzo.

    Like I heard Skip Bayless talking about how now the Lakers can't draft Lonzo because they've publicly dragged his name/character/work ethic through the dirt already. Ummm... no they didn't. They're doing their due diligence and working out other kids.

    I'm confident after they draft him there will be some Backstage Lakers segment where some of the key members of the organization claim that they had Ball as #1 on their draft board. And I don't think they'd necessarily be lying.

    And btw, all these blatant smokescreen with Ball is nonsense, we will pick him if he's available, he'll pack Staples more than any of the draft prospects combined. The Lakers is all about business, these recent years show Jeannie is more concerned with profit.
