    Clippers did us a favor. They snaked us on Kawhi and PG, then those guys tanked and the Clippers are paying the price. Thank god it went the way it did.

    yeah, i've never quite understood why everyone thinks he's a genius. he's a solid coach; players like to play for him. he can take a roster that should finish 9th to 5th place, but all the hand wringing about us not signing him never made any sense to me. he was worth what we offered him at the time, and he would have made it all back if he was as good as everyone says.

    no, remember--that trade was for PG AND kawhi! that's how they told the press to sell it. well, it still sucked.

    and while they look smart for not paying PG, they look dumb for not trading him before it got to that, imo. they could have moved him a couple years ago (when i'm certain they already knew they weren't going to max him). just bad management there.
