I think the massive amount of HRs is also compounded by Minute Maid park. Extremely short at the corners, which makes it even easier to hit homers. The air conditioning/closed roof also makes the air less thick and the ball flies more.
When pitchers like Kenley Jansen, who isn't known as a whiner or complainer, is tossing back three balls to the ballboy in order to find a ball that's "right", you know something is up.
Weather is absolutely a factor and honestly I'm guessing some of it is a placebo effect, but it still is an effect that changes this from really being baseball. Games 3-5 were a circus.
got home just as Astros scored their 2nd run. Then we settled it down. Now the lead off double. I look for Seager tying it up
Seager needs to let that pitch go... if its a strike let it be a strike. None of those pitches are strikes
yea its a shock that he isn't recognizing that pitch... they literally throw it as a two strike pitch to him every time
Either the Fox strike zone is lying to me, or this ump sucks. Also, Dodgers are in big trouble already, the bellinger error in the 1st was brutal, and then his golf swing strikeout was almost worse.
Darvish hosed on that 1-2 pitch to McCann right on inside corner with the breaking ball. F*** these umpires all series.
