You're right; I'm reading now that we like Thomas, but Jaime might need some work if we can mold him into a good strikeout guy.

Oh hey and speaking of Hector Olivera, he hit a home run in his first game at Camelback Ranch!

Well when you trot out garbage against St. Louis, that'll happen to you.

Couple of tough losses in Texas but we're on top of the division again. The bats have started to become wildly inconsistent though which I'm really not a fan of.

So far Joc looks like the runaway favorite for ROY and damn that boy is good.

Vinny said Joc Pederson is the best center fielder the Dodgers ever had. Wow.

Then again, with all the great catches he's made so far, I'm not surprised. Dude has probably saved us over 20 runs and a handful of wins on his defense alone.

Yeah that's a pretty bold statement... Especially coming from Vinny who has seen all our center fielders pretty much ever.

It's hard to argue against him, but hey now Vinny the kid is only 23 years old in his rookie season! It's a little early for the "best" talk isn't it?

Or it goes to show how long it's been since we've had a great center fielder outside of Brett Butler.

Pederson and Puig, man, these guys are young studs and not even near their primes. I can't imagine how good they'll be at their peaks.

Our team that's in development is actually really exciting... Seager is coming along nicely. Olivera isn't young, but he'll be coming really soon. Add that to Puig, Pederson, and Guererro, and baby you've got a stew cookin'!

I hope they call up Olivera soon. So much money tied up to a 30 year old player, I really hope he sees the field soon

I've been pretty unhappy with Rollins... pretty good defense but his offense has been just... awful...

Not enough Dodger talk in here!

    - Corey Seager is now the #1 prospect in all of baseball
    - FIVE All-Stars this year: Greinke, Kershaw, Gonzalez, Pederson, and surprise bid Yasmani Grandal!
    - Kershaw SNUBBED on the ballot... had to get in on an injury. What a joke.
    - Shields has been underwhelming in the most disappointing season the Padres could hope for... Dodgers rumored to be interested in taking that contract.
    - We released League! Dude had the weirdest, most up-and-down career here.
    - Olivera almost ready to come up?
    - We're shuffling like hell to get pitchers through here, but anyone not named Greinke and Kershaw has been inconsistent at best... We really need a 3rd starting pitcher. Miami is rumored to be shopping Haren already, but we just traded that guy away!
    - Brought up Beachy after his two TJ surgeries and he gave up 3 runs in 4 innings... Not great.
    - Chin-huo Tsao, the Taiwanese man with a torrid past, gets his first MLB win in TEN YEARS. Suspended and injured multiple times, banned from Taiwan and Australia, opens a restaurant where he gets accused of embezzlement, and finds himself on the mound for us where he notches a win... Crazy story.
    - Puig a malcontent? Players upset with him? Still so much maturing left to do...

Joc did us proud in the HR Derby. He lost to the hometown boy but had to be beat. That kid has some POP in his bat. He will be a Dodgers Allstar for years to come.

Well, Kershaw is in playoff form.

Guess the Giants will start on the road this World Series.
