Yeah, with the batters in a collective funk, we need every hit we can get, especially against playoff teams like the Braves and gints. Why is Belli above being sent down to OKC to clear his head and work on his swing and judgement? This race is too tight and we’re too deep in the season to wait for him to figure it out. And it’s not like Mookie, CT3 and Pollock are slouches on D. Pollock is weakest, but still average at worst.

If this were April or May, I’d say let Belli figure it out, but this is September, and we gotta take 1st to avoid that WC bs. A week or two in OKC could really help him sort his s*** out. Otherwise we’ll keep seeing teams put Pollock on like Atl did last night to get Belli to whiff on 4 pitches.

Treinen. Mother of god, the movement on his pitches is ridiculous. And the roller coaster ride called Kenley Jansen. He’s at another apex—keep running him out, but keep a short leash.

Gonna be an excruciating weekend. Looking forward.

BTW, Belli is my 16 yr-old boy’s favorite Dodger. No one else comes close. He has two Belli tshirts and a blue WS jersey. It’s gotten so bad for my kid that the only ray of sunshine Belli has given him lately happened a few nights ago:

Comes running downstairs yelling “Dad, guess what Bellinger’s hitting.”

    “Uhh . . . ,“ quoth I.

“.169!” and runs back upstairs cackling like the dork he is.

    wow

To kick Dave Roberts in his no-no's for his bad decisions that have cost us in the past! I think you're the person for the job, the Lakers front office peers out of the blinds and looks over their shoulders for you. I'm positive you could have a heavy influence on Dave Roberts decisions as well lmao

    GO DOYERS!!

I don’t know, I don’t have any experience with doing that. Maybe call up Draymond.

Don't worry, Cookie. I got my boy Ball Handles here to handle this (posted elsewhere by Zen Master). Set my boy up with Dave for some one on one, and he'll get the message through:

    Lol

The other day you said if we picked up Jeremy Lamb and paid $30 million in tax but wouldn't pay it to keep AC you would go down to Staples and throw a brick thru their window or something to that effect. That's why I brought your name up here because I would like to throw a brick thru Dave Roberts office window for playing Jansen in high stakes games. Obviously just messing around but your message was loud and clear about this the other day

I said I would riot but rioting to me is picketing with a sign not burning down the building lol. I’m not much into violence, plus I don’t think I’d do well in jail. I don’t follow baseball at all, so I’m no help.

Yea gave him a day off. He just hasn't been right after the shoulder surgery, hasn't been able to get back on track but he will. Just have to keep running him back out there.

Oh and I should have mentioned scherzer as well pitched another gem last night. Sucks he didn't get the win but the team doesn't get that win either without him. I still can't believe we picked him and Turner up, that still hasn't really sunk it yet.

I was thinking the same thing listening to the game last night. Everyone, me included, said the Cards won the most lopsided deal with the Arenado move, but for us to get Sherzer and some random dude named Trea as a throw-in lol? Come on.

Amazing how both have made such a huge impact from day one is mind-boggling.

Price, Urias & Buehler for Frisco. I think these next 7 games will be our biggest test. 3 against Frisco and 4 against the red birds who always play us tough. Padres have fallen off the map but they get up to play us too.

If we can win 5 of the next 7 I think Doyers take control of the division the rest of the way.

    Any time table on Kershaw?

Kersh is gonna have a bullpen session today, then do two sim innings Sunday.

Gonsolin’s being sent down to one of our farm teams for a three-inning rehab assignment. Both will obviously be reassessed after that

Sherzer was pulled early for hammy tightness last night, but he said it’s happened before and that he’ll be ready for his next start

It just seems that the Dodgers don’t slump when Mookie is healthy. He and Trae both can beat you so many ways hitting, fielding, and base running. Once the bats heat up, these two are gonna go nuts.
