After insulting Cuban, and apparently not liking Cuban's response to recent comments, he drops this suggestion.....

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...o-play-mark-cuban-1-on-1-or-have-a-cage-match

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers do not like each other.

The two clashed over the DeAndre Jordan saga this summer, and the rivalry is still boiling on both sides. Earlier in the week, Cuban told Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports Radio that Rivers’ “professional life was over if he didn’t get DJ.”

On Friday, Rivers said that the continued shots were pointless, unless the two played a game of one-on-one…or had a “cage match,” per B/R's Kevin Ding:

Seriously? A professional like Rivers suggesting a cage match or one on one with a non former NBA player. Stacking the deck much?

Cuban said “Rivers' professional life was over if he didn’t get DJ.”

Not following that. What's Cuban saying?

He would have most likely gotten himself canned as a GM, and his team would stink, and he might be considered declining as a coach vs his time in Boston, etc.

essentially a back handed slap

Got it! No wonder he led the Clipper contingent that had DJ kidnapped and "assaulted" by all those guys with knee pads on in his own home in Houston.

Cuban's right here, and doc's wrong. I actually think Cuban has handled this better than I would have. I would have been furious, and I'd be doubly furious that the press seems to be siding with the clippers on this. where's the integrity?

and yes, doc was absolutely finished had Jordan walked. he's never been more than a glorified rah rah guy.

That's what Cuban was inferring for sure. I'm not sold on his ability one way or another, but I think losing DJ had the potential to clarify that for me.
