Two things: 1. Weezy you're right. We're not getting an additions until Ellington is healthy enough to be cut if we want to. Who knows how long that could take. Or Nash's exception comes through, but that could be a while too (like you said, weeks). 2. lakerfan2 you're right. Barea and Bynum are unlikely to come here UNLESS they have a hard time finding a home on a contender. If neither of them can find a taker, then they might be willing to sign here for the same reason everyone else does: exposure.
Can we even apply for a second one? Randle is likely to be out for the entire year like Paul George. I wouldn't be averse to brining back Metta and someone like Bynum. That's how desperate things are.
Steve and Julius are out for the season. Bring back some familiar faces like Metta, Drew or Earl? Or bring in good veterans that knows the Princeton like Gilbert Arenas, Baron Davis, Daniel Gibson, Richard Hamilton, Kenyon Martin? Or save that money to sign guys that want to or have to wait until the 2nd half of the season to sign like Ray Allen, Michael Beasley, Emeka Okafor, Andray Blatche? Or sign some young bloods like Hasheem Thabeet, Peyton Siva, Yuki Togashi, Aaron Craft, Fab Melo?
