    It's not all Sterns fault..Paul had the power to say I'm only going to the Lakers, but he didn't cause he thought he could win a ring with the clippers. Obviously as long as he's on the Clippers he's not winning anything. If Paul was smart he'd run to the Spurs and truly try create an actual legacy for himself.

    Stern is just flat out telling a lie, but I will say this.

    Had we just waited a few days after that new CBA had been signed or at least a week and then made the agreement I think it would have softened the blow, quick response from the other owners who were like "WTF, is this? We just signed this new CBA to limit super teams and now this trade happens". I'm not blaming Mitch or Jim for this as they saw an opportunity and went for it instantly, no hesitation.

    Instead all this is a big footnote in our history of success. what could have been......
