Just like you. Put the blinders on …. not give one bit of credence to what I wrote, with a question mark for thoughts on it …. and just trash the guy like he’s useless. There’s a distinct possibility Redick is the perfect coach for both our similarly athletically challenged guards like he was himself as a shooter.

mostly due to vando injuries/ham incompetence this year and the fact that it was a deadline deal the year before.

in 22-23, that 68 minutes was actually the 4th highest minute total of any five man unit we put out there. the ones ahead of it were 75, 80, and 119.

    it's a good lineup.

folks got hung up on it not beating denver, though ham got spooked before that first series even started and inserted schroder in the starting lineup.

He got spooked for a good reason. Tinkerbell disappeared again this time around. However I do have a work around for that, it's a slight possibility that it will work.

@abeer ….. With a better and deeper bench, Wood with experience here now and wouldn’t it be sweet to see Max and Castleton improve enough for decent to good minutes off the bench.

Actually Abeer inspired the Homer in me for a second. How about this...we go out and get a real center, move AD to his preferred position at power forward. Then we bring Austin, Jarred and Rui off the bench?

Anthony Davis was an All NBA power forward in New Orleans. How about trying to make him happy for a change? Jarred or Rui can spell Lebron more at the 3, which helps cut back on his minutes during the season. They can also fill in at 4 for AD.

Now we have more lineup flexibility during the season, and the playoffs. Once Tinkerbell reverts to the mean in the playoffs,(and he most certainly will)we can replace him with Austin. That being his great friend, he might just embrace it as, they are a tandem, and it's not a big deal who plays more minutes.

    That might just actually work...maybe.

Who do you have starting at the 2? I think AR is way more valuable in the starting lineup with what JJ is going to do for him than having Gabe start at the 1 and Russell at the 2. Or certainly over Gabe at the 2. Reaves is going to be awesome this year if no big injuries.

I'm going with Gabe and C'lo. I like Austin off the bench, he can be our version of Havelicek. It doesn't matter who starts, it's how much they play. Ie Javale.

For some reason you keep taking Reaves off the bench, as being insulting or something. It's not. Some guys aren't built for 30 plus minutes every game. Austin is more effective below 30 minutes.

It’s not insulting … well he might find it but he’s legit our 3rd best player and should start IMO. Watch what JJ does with him.

He shouldn't be our 3rd best player, that should be Tinkerbell, but that's exactly the problem.

He’s as valuable on offense if both are shooting well and is the better defender.

I hate on this dude regularly but Chokeolo is the superior talent. Austin is the more reliable player in crunch time. I like Austin too, but I am just being more realistic about the situation. IMO

Draft Edey and sign Drummond and let's go get it. Or if we can't get Zach, Rui and the 17th pick should net a quality starter at 5. We still have Wood. He's redundant with Rui on the team anyway

If he has an edge on offense it’s not by much and AR will be improved from game one this year with his natural progression and no international ball, but by a bigger margin better on defense all around. The more complete player.

Edey’s going earlier than all these guys until recently are calling it. Or one of the others talked about, would’nt need Drummond we have Wood, if we get legit young big.

Wood is another power forward bro, I'd go for 2 legit bigs. I like Christian but not as a 5.

Draft Edey? Get Drummond? Are you permanently living in 1999?
