DLO already in playoff form.

Dlo is a nice player but he has minimal grit. 10 dimes is nice though but if his shot is off he'll get pulled for the other guards if we even make the playoffs.

 

I just don't see his game elevating consistently when playoff intensity and physicality becomes involved. He struggles against speed, physicality, length, and toughness.

He did more tonight than we've seen in the past when he was taken out of his offense, so that's positive, but super happy we have quality backups for the position that bring different things to the table. We have a defensive glue guy and a penetrator, and both can defend.

 

Guess he’s doing his annual “I’m going to give the team the ability to low ball me because I’m going to underperform” routine again.
He’s not it.
Good regular season performer, that’s all.

And he wonders why teams are scared of giving him a long term deal.

 

Dude's got twice the pressure on him now. Not only play in and the actual playoffs if we make it and probably facing Denver again first series .... but also now it's correspondingly "Bag" time in that the regular season was great and all but if he wants to opt out and be paid "more" .... it's put up or shut up time now. Doesn't seem likely as the competition now gets a lot tougher.

 

We would all love it if he caught fire when the pressure’s on- I’m just not expecting it.
We may not even make the playoffs if he doesn’t get his mojo back.

 

Nice game from DLO. We need that every night from here on out if we’re going to have a chance.

 

Came through when we needed him most - now need him to do it again on TUesday.

Actyally loved his activity defensively today - he was all over the place in the 1st quarter.

When he shows up and is engaged like that we win. Effort was in the little things and noticeably on defense. Then the 3 ball really started dropping in the second half.

Nice numbers. Despite the occasional bench, and 3-5 game skids where he shot for shi*, he had a great season.

Unfortunately, he'll be gone this summer, IMO.
