As I have said before Dlo should be allowed to actually play his position as our PG.

LeBron can take the ball in critical moments but Dlo makes this team tick and more fluid as well.

Maybe we should get him a shrink to deal with the playoff issues but am happy he stayed

DLo’s the best 3rd star we’ve had since LO. Just like LO, when they’re on we’re nearly unbeatable.

can see it. a lot of similar issues (head in the game, etc.), though dlo is more offense-first whereas odom ended up (incredibly, imo) as more of a two-way glue-guy. but definitely similar in that when he's right, he amplifies our advantage at the top two spots in important ways.

i'm just glad he's playing free since being re-inserted into the starting lineup. interestingly, not caring is almost a plus here, i think.

Those types of guys play better when they "don't care". They feel empowered to play free-wheeling basketball they are best known for. Unfortunately, that also means they are very susceptible to poor plays under pressure.

for most of the season I would have put him behind Reaves, but I think it's fair he's in 3rd now.

Not too shabby for a b-day game.

Couple easy ones courtesy of LBJ

For a guy who basically doesn’t jump more than a few inches on his J and sometimes not at all putting up those sneaky “leftie” shots …. it’s amazing how he jukes, changes pace and other tricks he uses to get himself just enough space to do so right in the thick of traffic in the mid range key area.

That's the reason he's survived in the NBA, it's one of his gifts.

I would love to see him be the key to us getting to the eighth spot and making a deep playoff run.

DLo has a good game but man he bricked a wide open 3 to cut the lead two and Suns got in transition and hit a contested 3.

6 point swing brutal in on those just can't get over the hump games ala Denver this teams gets into

We let everyone turn the corner on the perimeter with ease. I guess that's why we attempt to double so much. It works if we are knocking down shots.

It seems the team never hits those timely threes in the clutch. They hit threes when they are up big and down big.

Dlo knocked down some clutch shots and delivered some really crisp assists.

    Big shot DLO

Thought it took him awhile to make his imprint on this one, but achieved Ham requirements -- got stronger as the game got longer

Ham using Dlo as the off ball outlet is one good thing he did this game.

Dlo is an extremely good corner 3 shooters and getting him the ball at the FT line basically kills any zone as he can easily shoot or pass to anyone open.
In close games where he gets flustered by physical defense and his decision making goes downhill this maybe a way to punish defenses. I could see them use him like this against Denver as an example

Exactly …. just like the one from the other side he hit that I mentioned in juxtaposition to JHS and a number of our young guys who are in for a rude awakening trying to shoot as slowly as they are in the actual NBA. Those are awesome.

yeah, we don't seem to know what to do with movement shooters, so why not just move dlo off-ball and use him as a floor spreader when teams fluster him on the ball.
