D'Angelo Russell Discussion: Opted In!

He's our best volume 3pt shooter. Other than him and Lebron, no one takes a solid amount for us.

Our shooting would be even more trash without him.

Just can't trust this dude: have no idea why he can't have like a normal game.
He's completely trick or treat out there and it's usually a bunch of coal when the other team has a good PG going against him.

 

Physical teams just take him out of it. He's a finesse guy. He'll still help us but yeah

Not his best effort. Utah likes to play an uptempo game, he should have a good game Tuesday.

Dude disappears more often than Casper.
I can’t remember the last Laker who could drop 30 on any given night and then 3 the next.
He did have some good post passes to AD, but we need more from DLO.

his turnovers are at a career low right now, which we desperately need as a team. we're so bad in transition defense, which i guess will be a theme during the lebron/AD years.

 

No Garland in the second half against the Cavs and he was awful.
Just no in between for him: awful shot selection, awful defense, and than loses the ball out of bounce just dribbling in crunch time.

Off night...he is what he is. He's going to have it some nights and not have it other nights.

I still take him over fricking Lavine. At $18.5M per year, we could have done A LOT worse and DLO is important for AD because he's kind of the only guy that sets him up fo reasy buckets?
