    you kidding right? You probably the only one who wouldn't trade JC for 12th....JC has reached his peak and its not all that great, especially his really poor defensive metrics

    Clarkson averaged almost 15 ppg last year. What pick at #12 is gonna give you that next season? Clarkson is the perfect combo guard in a 3 guard rotation.

    how would you know? Clarkson was a 2nd rd pick, any pick at any # can be good. The salary difference is the key however, makes more room for 18' fa as well.

    If the Lakers traded their former 2nd round pick for a near lottery pick, I'd trust that the same skillz that netted JC might man someone much better that high in the draft.

    There are many more deals to follow after this in the coming year(s). Lopez is $22,642,350 in expiring money. I'll reserve judgement, but dang did I have high hopes for Russell.
