Off the top of my head....Bruce Brown, Dennis Shroeder, Myles Turner, Clint Capela, Vucevic, Cam Johnson, Jonas Valenucius, he could be wrapped into a trade for Tre Young, Zach Lavine, Jerami Grant...there are a whole lot of guys .

Bruce Brown-robbing peter to pay paul, plus possible downgrade as he was bad last year and is injured now. also have to add salary to make it work.
Dennis Shroeder-downgrade. sorry, pioneer. it is.
    Myles Turner-lol what?
Clint Capela-robbing peter to pay paul, and why would atlanta do it and who's our pg?
Vucevic--really don't like his fit here and why does chicago do it? they have young guards they want to play.
Cam Johnson-this one i could see. we'd have to add something of value. and now gabe is your starting pg and your backup pg is jhs? olivari on a two-way? bronny?
    Jonas Valenucius-not sure why washin

Tre Young/Zach Lavine: would need to move rui and one more sizable salary plus make them eat max, unlikely.

Jerami Grant-we've been over this one, but i don't really see it.

biggest issue with most of these is that we'd be down to gabe (or less in a case like lavine) at pg. that's not going to get it done.

D'Angelo Russell at point guard isn't going to get it done either. We already know that. You don't (know) if bringing in any of these guys listed would or not. Perhaps you can only view the team with Tinkerbell on it, because you think he's the best option.

At the end of the day, nobody has been proven to be reliable, at predicting trades period. The professionals in the media are reduced to guessing like the fans. And yet trades are still made every season. In every season guys get traded for various reasons and most of the time, for a lot less, than a lot of folks thought they were worth.

I think we are going to make a trade, maybe two. I wouldn't be surprised in the least, If we end up with a couple of the guys I listed. It would take more than just moving Tinkerbell though.

We'll see..I still say that we will get to the Conference Finals, in this campaign too.

    After making some roster moves.

i came up with a ton of scenarios involving moving dlo. almost none of them don't involve bringing back a pg, though.

We might not need another PG.

lebron and reaves can't take that job, imo. if we move dlo, we need to at least get some perimeter speed in return. preferably in the form of a ballhandler. so, yeah, pioneer's guy schroder works there. i just think his lack of shooting and poor decision making will offset the gains like it always has.

I'd take Dennis and Capela for Tinkerbell, Gabe and Max. No FRP involved. There are other scenarios that would work too, if we just kept Gabe. It just depends on the deal, we have some options.

slick, you like a lot of impossible things, like dlo for turner or the above. nobody is touching max after we gave him a 4-year deal and then benched him for the vet min guy we wished opted out. nobody's taking gabe after seeing that live gabe is worse than dead gabe.

i agree that we'll have some options, though. just not much is going to happen until december, so we have to find a way to be competitive in the interim.

Nobody thought that Tinkerbell was a hot commodity, after Minnesota dumped him for "lack of leadership " as their PG. If guys careers were over, just because things didn't work out somewhere else, a lot of guys wouldn't be in the League. This includes Tinkerbell, he could still thrive somewhere else IMO. Max as well. I know Gabe started on a team that went to the Finals, he doesn't have a defined role here with Tinkerbell on the team.

It it what it is right now, I agree, I'm expecting moves to be made next month though, absolutely.

In a perfect world, I want to make moves and still keep Austin, Rui and Jarred.

Hell..Shroeder and Valenucius are only making 23M combined. That's doable too.

Honestly played olkike he had money on Memphis.

Really frustrating to watch this game and the Lakers fight to within 2 and Dlo decides to vomit for the next 4 out of 5 possessions which led to easy Grizzly buckets and that was basically ball game for a short handed Lakers team

He needs to go, this is what happens when you have a player perpetually on the trade block and they know it. Why should he buy in, he knows he’ll be on another team by February. The s*** thing is all the other teams know this and will try to gouge us

I like that JJ is reacting to the numbness on the team. Calling out players in the media is a way to shake things up, but sometimes doesn't work well. Let's see how it goes, but I'm happy with him trying to improve the team

Didn't get much out of Gabe either though. His agent might have told him to expect to be moved next month. That's not exactly inspiring news.

i guess the good news is that we're already learning to play without any of his positives.

    Yeah, drives me crazy.

And on him even more, when his place in the league is quite shady. He's a really good player, but I don't see any team paying more than 10mil. He should be balling to try and secure a good contract and situation in a pivotal year for him
