Slick will NEVER admit that Hambone was a huge problem.

Meh.. It's the preseason for one thing, and We are running the same 5 out offense. I havent noticed this huge difference in the basic offense. We ran good sets and plays under Ham, according to opposing scouts. The problem was that we went away from them, as the game went on. (Lebron James?) This is also according to those same scouts.

We shall see, if we go away from what JJ runs, as the game goes on or not this season. (Lebron James?)

NO..I think we have a roster problem more than anything. Whether it's Ham or Redick. It's the Jimmies and Joe's, not the X's and O's in my opinion.

    Always .

Already said, if the open looks are consistently there with. JJ..don't start blaming him if things go left either.

i don't agree with all of slick's comments above, but i do agree that people praised ham's half court offense and that we did pretty well when we actually ran it.

i think we're about to find out whose fault that was, though.

the one thing people are implying consistently (and basically to a man) is that ham wasn't super prepared to do his job on the day to day and jj is.

Ham is by far, the worst Laker coach I’ve witnessed since I started watching in the mid 1980s.

He better be glad he had those big three consecutive plays in the 4th. Great job setting the table and holding off the Wolves run.

    Other than that, YUCKY!

Still on that cruise control bull s*** we saw in the pre-season

Come on D. lo - played well but he missed a lot of easy shots for him. Could have put this game away sooner

I think he can do better everything on the offensive side, but I've appreciated a lot that he has not forced any shoot preferring to give rhytm to the offense, expecially with Hayes on the floor.

He looks weird. I imagine he may be convinced he's getting traded. Maybe JJ set up the team to rely more on Reaves, expecting that we will have him and Max/Gabe (or some 3&D coming in the trade in addition to the center) in our backcourt so DLo felt his time with us is limited.

We look better when he's playing free and confident, hope he gets there

Russell did sink a floater when the lead was down to four to start a 7 point run I believe. He was steady, did not force the action and picked his spots.

Actually, he was involved in 3 consecutive buckets for the Lakers at this time in the game (assisted on the other two). He didn't have a good game in generał, but did contribute when it mattered.
