Thank the f***ing lord he's starting again

d****** move by Ham earlier int he year and nearly lost DLO completely but luckily he's a professional.

He needs to start rest of the damn year...no more cam reddish in fact keep him on the bench behind Max Christie

i never liked the demotion, either. and it backfired, potentially taking the season with it.

may have lost a fragile ego along the way. If nothing else, expect him to opt out if he isn't traded.

which is also a disaster, right? as we'll be over the cap with no means to replace him. again, just a badly bungled situation, from a human/psychological perspective, imo.

lebron and rob didn't help at all, either, imo. and yes, i guess russell could have talked to the press after games instead of pouring more gas on the fire. everyone could have done better here.

It is what it is. I wouldn't walk on egg shells around a proven playoff choker either :p
That being said, he's our best pg, probably better than the one will get via trade, so we're screwed either way.

yes. once we decided to sign him, lebron needed to shut up, rob needed not to be making phone calls, and darvin needed to act like he was our starting pg. just control yourselves, all three, and we'd at least be in better position for trades, as there wouldn't be obvious outward signs of discord and the feeling that for a second straight year we must make a trade if only for the sake of team chemistry.

we signed him to a contract knowing he's a playoff choker. as i said a few posts back, if the ONLY reason we were re-signing him was as trade bait, we should have given him a very large deal for one year.

Plus I'd imagine, in his mind and seems that way, this second time around with the team is going badly in how they see him, AGAIN, when from the get go he has tried to be the good teammate, supporting and mentoring and cheering the others along.

he's not the bad guy. entitled fans are mad he didn't deliver in the playoffs.

he's a flawed but talented player who's living up to his contract.

Played great against a good team, showed up in a big game, outscored Kyrie by 17, and while we played with a complete team (close enough). Haven't had DLO pick it up in a game like that in a long time.

Another great game from him, made some crazy shots in the paint. He’s really something when he has it going and gains confidence, it’s just a shame he’s so streaky that way. But I’ve changed my stance from earlier in the season that he needs to go, he should really only be traded if it’s for someone better, someone that takes us to another level. Otherwise you risk us getting worse by losing the things he brings when he’s on.

We just look different when he’s draining.
Hopefully, he can keep this streak going for a few more games.

It'll be nearly impossible to trade him and improve. He only makes 17 million a season and his ceiling is much higher than that. He's more valuable to us than he is to anyone else. Can't just toss him in a trade as only a "contract".

    I agree, but
I would still prefer the Murray trade IF we are only adding JHS and the pick.
Murray can actually play D and can score in more ways than DLO can. Plus, he still has room to improve.
I’m still worried about DLO wilting in the playoffs.

Murray is the only guy I'm moving him for at this point. And from reports that's cooled. I'd do Dlo JHS or Lewis and the pick but nothing more. Hell no to more. If you asked me a week ago I thought Dlo was absolutely gone, but I'm not so sure now. He and Reaves are cooking again in the starting lineup.

I mean, I'd do that trade as well. Hawks wouldn't though.. They'd just ask for Reaves... Dlo doesn't have ANY value in a trade for a player like Murray. He's simply just a piece to match contracts. The trade is essentially JHS and one 1st... And JHS has shown nothing so far in the nba.
