I’m a little confused on the amount of flack he’s getting for this. For me, this fast break is on the other guys. You have 2 guys filling the same spot in the middle and Gabe didn’t go wide enough on the opposite wing. Where was he supposed to go with the ball?

DLo gets the blame, but that’s about as bad of spacing you can have on a fast break. He got a wide open look that he needs to hit, but the lack of spacing there wasn’t on DLo.

Yeap, everyone ran to the same spot, there was no angle to play the ball and he did well saving a TO.

Not that I want to trade DLO or anything but is the soonest we can trade him, December 15th?

Lol..I'm not sure that D'Angelo, is the best example to follow on that subject.

we'll see. i think his commitment to defense looks real. he doesn't have the physical gifts to be an elite defender, but he can be "not s***ty", and he's getting there.

i also think he had major issues off the court with maturity, preparation, etc. when he was here the first time, and that seems less obvious now. knock on wood--i haven't seen one of those plays where he just lazily throws an initiation pass to the other team since he's rejoined us. that stuff was a regular occurrence before.

i'm pulling for him to get his offense back on track here in the next few games and to look like the guy he can be. and i'm guessing he's right about reddish, too. that guy also has a ton of talent and seems to be maybe finally thinking about what it takes to stick in the league.

vincent would be a great mentor in some ways, but i think dlo makes a lot of sense because gabe had to work from nothing, whereas reddish (like dlo) had some expectations and failed.

He's a great influence and can definitely help Cam. Your last paragraph makes a ton of sense, abeer.
Dlo knocking more shots doesn't mean he is a better influence on Cam, it's not basketball related. If your take 2 minutes to hear Flo, you see he shows a lot of maturity

Are we talking about the same D'Angelo Russell, the guy Minnesota says they traded, because they wanted more maturity, from their PG as a leader?

Talent he has...maturity? I'm not feeling that angle, it's one of the reasons that he's been traded 4 times. On the bright side,he doesn't have to be a leader here. Just make some shots, he's capable of doing that.

Lol..It's hard to see the Beard, lasting until December 15th with Philadelphia. They should trade him to the Raptors or Bulls or something. Just not the Flippers.

pretty sure anyone signed as a FA can't be traded until 12/15. if it's an extension, it goes to 1/15 (not positive there).

rui, dlo, austin, and gabe were FAs; vando was an extension.

    13 in 4th/OT.

Getting better, but he HAS to find that 3 ball and his confidence in it. It's non negotiable.

I'm hoping that nice stretch in the 4th he had, when he was feeling himself a bit out there can give the confidence enough of a boost that carries over so we can get closer to pre-season DLO.

DAR hasn't been BAD but our awful guard play highlights every one of our guards.

DAR's game is kind of unique for a PG when he's being one. He's like trying to get over playing at 3/4 speed with tricks and smarts while opponents play at full speed. Helps when he's hitting his shots of course.

Need to hit open 3's though man - the number of open 3's this team generates is great but if you can't bury them that means you aren't using the spacing to feed AD/Lebron

Dlo finally looking like Dlo from the pre-season: much better decision making and made his open jumpers
