I watched DLO's presser after the last Utah game, and I really gotta hand it to the guy. I saw a guy who is extremely poised, mature, measured, and focused. I think the dude is 100% locked-in for the playoffs, and if he can keep his head in this space, I think he'll be huge for us.

I remain skeptical that it's gonna work out for us in the long run (none of his previous four teams were sorry to see him go), and I am still worried he's a headcase, but I am super impressed with his development and his performance here so far, both on and off the court. Fingers crossed this lasts.

"Playoff DLO" is a thing. Man, if we're stuck with this guy for another 4-5 years...

Just put this one out of your head and move on DLO. Just not your night at all.

    Discount!

He was so unplayable, I thought he was the other Russ.

Worst game he's had this year as a Laker.

hate to say it, but that was purely mental.

my hope is that he'll eventually get it out of his system. i feel like chris webber did that over time--he was so unclutch early in his career, and once you've failed enough, you're less scared of it i think.

That was as bad as it gets, holy hell, and Conley made him look so bad in comparison. Whatever though, one game, just needs to bounce back next one.

Yeah thought it was going to be bad after that first shot. He seems like a guy who has fun playing the game and his teammates really like him but the playoffs are different. You got to have to be able to bring the fire and not just the fun when other guys are going for the kill

I actually thought he did a good job assisting when his shot wasn't falling, but he pretty much mentally checked out once he went 0-5 or so. I'm concerned because it was like the T-Wolves knew that they could aggressively take him out the game. Hopefully it's a wake up call. Memphis will eat this guys lunch if he comes out like this.

I like DLO but he can't expect to fetch another $30M contract scoring 2 points in a pivotal game like this man, it's unacceptable.

Okay, okay, D-Lo had a really bad game. And some of us are already saying he withers mentally for the playoffs.

He's going to be better. I mean: he has to be better. I think he will have some good games before we exit this season.

But yea: that was really not what we needed. D-Lo should be eating whatever AR's having from now on.

btw, i know conley outplayed him (and everyone in basketball history!), but that wasn't even the matchup. minny was often using edwards on him, and edwards was pushing way up on him and just making him squirm. that was definitely inside knowledge at work:

and yes, i'm sure memphis was watching that closely. then again, memphis already knew because that's who neutered him in the playoffs last year.
