If he were on a good team maybe I’d find it easer is to follow, but I cannot bring myself to be bothered with the Nets. They’re one of those teams I forget exists sometimes.

I was upset about the Russell trade at first, but have come to think it was a good move for all parties. That team lacks talent but is coached very well. I was at their game against Orl on Friday and the team has a great energy that made them a lot of fun to watch.

SPENCER DINWIDDLE Had 22pts 6ast 5 reb. In place of Russell. Crap teams allow room for guys putting up inflated stats. This lakers
    team is better without Russell.

It is indeed worrisome when Russell has to sit games for knee issues. He had those type of knee issues here as well...considering his age and his (non-athletic) style of play, it seems like his knees are wonky. Its not like he puts his body on the line every night to justify this.

To be fair, he bumped knees which could happen to anyone, but yes his injury propensity is one of the reasons I was becoming skeptical on him.

I was concerned about the ice in his veins. That's potentially a life threatening condition.

And with a pre-existing condition like that, he's fortunate to have good medical coverage like the NBA has.

He is healthy. They held him out for precautionary reason so said the team; he was only out 1 game.

I'm wondering now if we traded him because we knew TJ McConnell was about to explode, and we didn't want to get caught up in the Tom Penn firestorm. Cause TJ is balling out so far.

that pretty much sums up how the season is going to be for d-lo and the nets

he's going to put up big numbers but they'll give up over 110 pts and lose

Almost looked like he slipped or his leg gave way or something. If he did it all the time, it'd be a big deal. Heck, I can find video of Kobe's ankles breaking, but it didn't happen often.

    (Trying to be nice lol)

LOL looked more to me like he was getting the hell out of the proximity so he wouldn't be expected to maybe take a charge.? Or being magnanimous here (like you) he could have been thinking there were bigs (Nets) by the basket (there were) to defend there and he was headed quickly to pick up the guy who might have a pass dumped off to him?
