Good indicator tonight with how much D'Angelo builds on what he has learned, constantly adjusting and "figuring" it out. Per his own words. So a little bit of "clutch factor" hopefully on display tonight with his having a much better, lasting impression for summer league ......type of game. Kinda like he ACED his 2nd workout for all the marbles with the Lakers. We'll see. Still can't get on him long as the smarts and effort are there.

Would you look at that. He was stroking around those picks like buttah.

    Good job kid.

Couldnt catch the game, saw the stat sheet. Glad he put up 21. Sounds like we ran more pick n roll today...definitely the way to go with d'lo.

Any other comments on his game today? Looked like he took a lot of shots...3's, mid range, at the rim?

Russ looked good. Played in a more controled tempo, less turnovers. Took a lot of mid range shots and hit a lot of it, thats' where most of his points came from. Low assists total but he made some great passes, guys didnt convert.

I didn't see the whole game, but I saw him hit one deep 3 and two layups in traffic in addition to the midrange shots.

It will take some time, but the guy is extremely talented. He just needs experience, needs to calm down - and he has to keep taking shots. Like Kobe used to do. You'll miss, you will airball some, that's OK. Keep shooting and making the right play.

With the mid-range game going out of style, his ability to come off screens and nail that shot is a breath of fresh air. That will open up driving lanes, passing lanes and make him an extremely difficult cover.

Agreed with others here about getting his leg strength up. That will do wonders for his 3 ball. If he gets that going, he's going to be a player. Working with Nash will also be a huge boost for him as well.

Seriously my favorite so far has been his above average defensive showing. He'll still get beat but I think Hibbert is going to do real wonders for him. I think Russell will definitely be able to funnel guys.

Little bit of everything...Also, do yourself a favor and go into the clarkson thread and look at the dunk he threw down since you missed the game.

Yeah, I kinda find myself more excited to see him play than russell or randle. We might not win a lot of games next year,
but its gonna be fun to watch !

Me too...this kid came out of nowhere and is stealing the show. His athleticism was super underrated a year ago, no one was talking about how he could do stuff like this and he hasn't even started his 2nd year yet.

I agree with him. I wonder why no one talks about his strong rebounding.
